really liked it
bookshelves: comedy, fiction

I saw the title and thought, "I've definitely read this one."

Then I started in and thought, "I've never read this one."

But then as the plot revealed itself I thought, "I've essentially read this one."

I'm not saying the plot of every PG Wodehouse novel is the same...just most of them. But since I love them, that's all right!

Dan Schwent I think there's another one called Something New. Yeah, they're all the same but Wodehouse does the same story very well.

I just picked up yet another Blandings which I haven't read yet, cuz hot damn do I love these. And also, tis the season for enjoyable things. The world is a dumpster fire, might as well enjoy what I can. And if I'm going to splurge or get addicted to something, it might as well be Wodehouse.

I actually prefer the Blandings books over the Jeeves ones. There are usually more pieces of the board and even more misunderstandings.

There definitely are more bits and pieces to the Blandings books, but I just love the Wooster character, and there's nothing you can say that will tear our hearts asunder!

Anne Great review ! That's Wodehouse in a nutshell.
