I expected this to be YA, but I would categorize it as upper middlegrade instead. I think this did a great job of introducing colonization and oppression to younger readers in a way that didn't feel too explanatory. I do think the ending felt a little rushed, especially for a fairly long graphic novel, but overall, I enjoyed this.
