This is so depressing. I recommend pairing this with something comedic. We are all compliant in this and we need to do something NOW. We carry phones in our pockets that are worth more than these miners will see in a year. If that’s not enough you should be terrified about the uranium being smuggled into North Korea! I don’t see think the book is organized particularly well but I think really important and you should read it now. I wish this had ended with a call to action about something we could do to be less complicit in these horrors; right me I just feel hopeless. 4.3 stars
