A Wizard’s Guide to Defensive Baking was written for children that base on the information I've found. However, the story may not suit for those children who are afraid of horror elements, because this book has some scared moments for children, therefore it may not be a suitable bedtime story for children. It is lighthearted for some audiences but may not be for the others; for me it is entertaining enough to enjoy this book that which has straightforward story lines, likable characters, interesting magics etc..

I will definitely look for T. Kingfisher's other books, Minor Mage will be the next read by T. Kingfisher. She also has written some horror novels so I am also looking forward to her horror books.
