Summer People (A Cape Cod Romance Book 1)

Lovely mature romance
I loved this quick fun beach read. As I age, so does my taste, so it was nice to read a 30-something’s happily ever after. For those who have spent time on Cape Cod, or who enjoy antiques and/or American folk art, this will also feel like coming home.
The heroine’s self-discovery even as she uncovers (ahem, excuse the pun) a terrible truth about her marriage, is well depicted and well paced. There is a hint of enemies to lovers in this story with the hero. And the heroine’s best friend is a hoot. All in all, while quite different than French Ghost, Ms LaBalme’s characters again made the book and kept me reading.
