How do I end up in these situations? Lol.
This review is probably not the best at helping a reader decide whether they should check this out or not as I’m at a weird place in my reading life that is often plagued by boredom, burnout, and restlessness when it comes to romance.
I was looking for a slightly taboo story with good UST and plausible progression. I know that I know better - that this being only 78 pages, the probability was low.
However, if you like a large tattooed, possessive protective growly man who instantly falls in love with the daughter of his bestie, a naive innocent who fortuitously feels the same way, with explicitmeh smut, then this might tickle your fancy if you want a quickie.

I really don’t know Val. I’m tired of romance but I need romance. I’m stuck and constantly looking but dont have the fortitude for anything more than 300 pages
I get it. It’s tough to find anything worth reading. I wish, at times, I could have interests in other genres, but I just can’t. 😔
😂 fab review! And I totally get what you mean about your reading situation. Not much tickles the fancy button these days. I just finished Kai Butler’s San Amaro investigations series. More action than romance, but ok.
I also quite like the latest NR Walker Storm Boys trilogy. Not too sappy but there is a nice romance.
But all in all feeling lacklustre about most books.
I saw that Storm Boys trilogy Ariana - I might have to investigate further. I think as voracious readers, it becomes more and more difficult to impress us. Here’s wishing us all the next great find!
