Wait, I’m sincerely curious why you thought this! Because she struggled in the challenges? I personally loved that part of it as someone with a chronic Illness myself. It made it feel grounded to me, instead of her disability being something that mystically gave her more powers. She just struggled and it was hard and she actually was at a disadvantage. Curious more on your take!
The romance was a big no for me. The guy didn't do much for her to beg for his attention. It threw me off and I was not here for the jealousy either.

Yeah, I don't understand your review. It's an adult fantasy novel about dragons. I don't think the author was trying to set any sort of precedent for women or anything. But hey, I get it if it wasn't your thing.
