This book was so stupid, it's hilarious 🤣🤣
Did any of the plot make any sense? Absolutely not. Did I enjoy reading this and couldn't stop? yes 🫣
Only Penelope Douglas can write such a bad book and also keep me hooked the entire time.
I LOVED The Devil's Night series and one thing I loved about this author was how there was never just dark romance, there was a crazy complex plot but everything in this book felt flat and bland.
As you know from the title, it's a bully romance and the dude bullies her just because he's angry and can't hurt the people he really wants to hurt so he hurts her. BRO WHAT 👁️👄👁️ I also feel angry sometimes but I don't go on the streets and beat up the first person I see, do I?
It was genuinely so stupid 😭😭 the guy gets moved by ONE SPEECH our fmc gives and it suddenly becomes all flowery flowery.
Atleast I expected good twists and turns from Penelope but no, that wasn't in my luck either. I saw what was coming from miles away!
At the end, I was just shaking my head and laughing. At myself. For even thinking this book would be CLOSE to Devil's Night.
Also I'm so done with the names. Tatum? Jared? Madoc? Stay away please.

ikr? like after reading this whole book, i concluded that Tatum is actually a bitch and not a girls girl because YOU SHOULD HATE THE BOY, and Jared's reasons were so fucked up 😭 i agree with you!!
