I had a very good time reading this. It was fun.
An excellent world-building from J.K. Rowling, and I also loved how she wrote the characters.
However, as for every story this one had its flaws. Because of some misplaced subplots and a weak climax with a lot of exposition, I'll take two points from the first Harry potter adventure.
The story has so much potential and I can't wait for the next adventure.

seen (the bluest tranquility) This is exactly what I thought when I first read it. I also thought it started childish but turned -unexpectedly- little bit dark at the end, which is really promising :))

Ahmed Gamal YES!
That is how I remember the movies to be. I just thought that the novel would be more complex, and yet -of course- it's still very promising.
P.S. I've always thought that "The chamber of secrets" was the real start of the series.
