it was amazing
bookshelves: old-reviews, 2022-best-to-worst, top-ten

Everyone is a suspect, and there's no way out of the island till the mystery is solved. This is one of my favorite tropes.

This remains the best mystery novel I've read as I write this. I love how each character has value and contributes to the story, regardless of how long they stay within the plot. I also would've never predicted that twist, it's so incredible and it makes me want to read the book again as the clues are really visible on second glance.

Fun Fact: As a brand new reader, back in 2022, I resented how difficult it was to understand the vocabulary of this book, naïve to the fact that it was written in the 1930s.

ive heard evreywhere that this is the best mystery book out there. ah difficult vocabulary is not my strong point but ill def try. amazing review aaron!!

Aaron Thank you, @shehrbano 🤍 I highly recommend this, and I hope you enjoy it!

I also want to clarify that the vocabulary isn't that difficult looking back, it was just rough to me back then as I've never read a classic before (and English isn't my first language).
