I absolutely loved this book, which is the second in the series following Violet on her journey to become a midwife!

In this book Violet is in the second year of studying having successful completed her first year of training in the previous book. It was well written and such a nice read, I got really in to the story and loved following Violet and seeing the relationships she has change and develop.

I loved that she came more in to her own too and how her relationship with Zoe also changed allowing her to become a little more independent and I loved the introduction of the new house mate to Tangiers Court to give the book a different feel to the first in the series.

The characters are wonderful, so well developed and genuine. I loved every page and the ending of the book was just great and such a fantastic read.

It is 5 stars from me for this one – very highly recommended and I have already been recommending it! I have already downloaded the third and final book in the trilogy and can’t wait to get started on that one - so watch out for that review too next week!

It is such a brilliant series and I cannot recommend it highly enough!!
