I have read quite a few books by this author and I am always genuinely excited to see when she has a new release out so I jumped at the chance to get my hands on a copy of this, her latest release – Wildflower Park Part One – Build Me Up Buttercup!
My first impressions for this book were how lovely the cover was – it completely drew me in and it is definitely a place I would want to visit and I couldn’t wait to get started on the story.
I was hooked as soon as I started reading and I read it in one sitting. I thoroughly enjoyed the plot and the characters were very well developed and they all worked really well together, I loved the interaction and how the different personalities interacted. I loved Maurice and Bert too and hope to hear more about them as the book progresses, they both sound like fabulous characters.
I thought that this was a really pleasant story, it was well written and best of it made me laugh, more than once, and out loud – it was a complete delight!
Five stars from me – I really enjoyed it, very highly recommended and really looking forward to reading part two in the series!

I adore this author's books and I think that this book is the best that she has written to date! It flows so well and has an absolutely brilliant storyline.
I loved the characters and their interaction was spot on, the development of the plot as I went through the book was superb and I couldn't think of giving this book anything other than a massive 5 stars!!

I really enjoyed this book, it was quite different to the books I have been reading lately (mainly crime fiction) so it was a really nice change to pick up a different genre.
The book follows four characters and each of them has a personal secret – we get to see the impact of the secrets on their personal lives, work life balance, friendships and relationships.
It is really well written and whilst it isn’t one I would necessarily pick up straight away I am really glad that I did as I thoroughly enjoyed reading it – four stars from me for this one!

I really enjoyed this story – it was very well written and had a really addictive feel.
The characters in the story were brilliant. They were so well developed, I really felt for some, and not so much for others. There was a great mix and they all had their own negative traits which allowed others to have strengths and I loved the slight frictions that this caused.
There was an act in the book about half way though that made me guess where the book was heading but it didn’t detract from the plot for me, there were twists and turns and it still made for a gripping read.
I really enjoyed this book and I read it over the Christmas period, starting it on Christmas Eve and finishing it on Boxing Day – I think if it hasn’t been for certain festive activities I would have happily sat there reading the book from cover to cover!
It is 4.5 stars from me for this one, rounded up to 5 stars for Amazon and Goodreads – very highly recommended – this was my first book by this author, and it certainly won’t be my last – Jen has a new fan!...more
I LOVED this book, it was an absolutely brilliant story!
The story was very well written, and I loved the author’s writing style, this author has always been one of my favourites in her genre and this was probably my favourite I have read of hers so far, and as she has some amazing books out there, that is really saying something about how good this one was.
The pace of the book was perfect and the length of the chapters was spot on and I really went through the emotions with the characters, I was delighted by the ending after such a sad and tragic start to the book.
The way that the story was told was great, I loved the mix of characters and the different personalities from the three sisters and how they all worked together.
It is 5 stars from me for this one, I loved the setting, the characters and the story was superb – very highly recommended and I can’t wait to get started on the next book in the series!...more

In this book Violet is in the third and final year of studying having successful completed her first and second years of training in the two previous book. It was well written and such a nice read, I got really in to the story and loved following Violet and seeing the relationships she has change and develop and I loved how she came more in to her own in this on, even if she did have a few ups and downs.
The characters are wonderful, so well developed and genuine. I loved every page and the ending of the book was just great and such a fantastic read - this book ended the trilogy perfectly - but I am so glad that there are other books with the characters out now too!

In this book Violet is in the second year of studying having successful completed her first year of training in the previous book. It was well written and such a nice read, I got really in to the story and loved following Violet and seeing the relationships she has change and develop.
I loved that she came more in to her own too and how her relationship with Zoe also changed allowing her to become a little more independent and I loved the introduction of the new house mate to Tangiers Court to give the book a different feel to the first in the series.
The characters are wonderful, so well developed and genuine. I loved every page and the ending of the book was just great and such a fantastic read.
It is 5 stars from me for this one – very highly recommended and I have already been recommending it! I have already downloaded the third and final book in the trilogy and can’t wait to get started on that one - so watch out for that review too next week!

The book was a great follow on and I loved the author’s writing style. The book had a wonderful natural flow and after a few chapters I was relaxed and happy and it was just what I needed.
The characters in the book are wonderful and I almost feel like they are old friends – a lovely book to leave you feeling warm and cosy inside and just the perfect distraction for me from the news and doom and gloom.

The author has an excellent way with her words that really brought her characters and the story to life. The descriptions of Cornwall were perfect and she really transported me there and gave me memories of my last visit.
The plot was great, it was well developed and the characterisation was brilliant, the story was easy to read and follow and I loved the strength that Cassandra finds as I joined her on her journey.
I also wanted to say how much I love that cover too – it is lovely and really captured my attention.

I love this author’s books and I was thrilled to see that she had a new release!
I thought that this book was lovely, it was well written, the characterisation was brilliant and I loved being able to catch up with some of my favourite characters. The setting for the books is wonderful and I love being able to visit them as I turn the pages and it is the perfect escape for me.
This story features on Madison and we get to know more about her, she has been one of my least favourites in the series but I have warmed to her now after reading this one.
The attention to detail was great and the book was very well developed and it is the perfect read for this time of the year – and it made me really want to have a warm hot chocolate and cake!!

The layout was fun, I liked the same four words/phrases were used in each country - Hello, Please, Thank You and Goodbye and the images were delightful and fun.
I liked the little travel journal at the end with the facts about the different countries too. There would very easily be a follow up and I would definitely be grabbing a copy! A fun way to learn and I learnt words too as an adult!
