As much as I loved the hero, Emmie was the star of the show. I loved her journey. This was very much a story of her growth, a story of friendship and found families, and of love in all forms. This would have definitely been a five star for me if (view spoiler) . Overall, I loved it lots and highly recommend!
Maybe home isn’t a place. It’s a feeling. Of being cared for and understood. Of being loved.Dear Emmie Blue was the first book I’ve read by Lia Louis, and it won’t be the last. This book was so good! It made me smile, made me feel, and even though the romance wasn’t as at the forefront of the story as I would have liked, it had the swooniest hero!
