The story of Genesis and Otis who becomes her legal guardian when she is three. They love each other as family and there is no hint of anything more until Genesis has turned 18 and her feelings are made clear. Pretty much as soon as this happens the sexual aspect of the relationship begins with (view spoiler)[Otis disclosing he has had similar feeling since she was 16 but didn't act on them even though they were still sharing a bed, as they had always done (hide spoiler)].

Overall I liked this story, yes it was kind of taboo but they weren't related (nor did they ever think they were as in some stories) and she was legal, so I guess it may not have that really forbidden aspect some might be looking for.

I would have liked to see more exploration of Otis's feelings. We had his POV but it felt kind of shallow and mostly just focussed on how he wanted to fuck her (though there was plenty of declarations of love).

It was a quick read but I would have liked a bit more depth
