Norse Mythology

There is not much to say about this book, except that if you have a few hours of very boring work ahead of you, listening to Neil Gaiman tell you his versions of fairytales ancient myths at 2x speed is a fairly ideal way to accompany it.
Doesn't need too much attention. Won't distract you very much. This should be consumed, in my opinion, exactly as pleasant background noise.
Sorry that that's kind of a frenemy-ish thing to say.
Bottom line: Fine!

what's the level of possibility on neil gaiman narrating every audiobook?
asking for a friend or whatever.
review to come / 3 stars

on a quest to find pure joy. pretty sure i'm on the right track with "mythology rewritten and read aloud by neil gaiman"

I just finished the song of Achilles and am looking for another book on mythology to fix my broken heart so I can’t wait to know what you think of this!

I've never managed to finish a Niel Gaiman book... would this be a good one to try? I really want to like him but I just haven't clicked with his writing

hmm...i think i'd recommend starting with one of his children's books, like coraline (my favorite!!) or the graveyard book, just bc they have his signature style but are a little more fast paced and easy to get into. besides those, my favorites by him are neverwhere and the ocean at the end of the lane, both of which are short-ish and pretty gripping? i probably wouldn't start with this one tbh

Actually one of the things I like most about Neil Gaiman is that I don’t know anyone who loves everything he’s written, I think that shows he’s not afraid to experiment
