Well, this is exactly what I was expecting it to be and I'm pretty happy with it!

✅ CUPIDS WERE UNIQUE and I enjoyed this new type of magic. An invisible creature whose job is to blow flirtations and lust around at people is pretty hilarious! I just wish Emelle had used her powers more frequently, but I guess she didn't really have many opportunities

✅ EMELLE'S LONELINESS was written really well. If your job was to make other people fall in love and have sex and you could never talk to anyone, let alone feel anything, life would definitely get pretty lonely

❌ THE ROMANCE was super tame so far. There's obviously a lot of flirting and banter, but there was only one kiss in the entire book! Seems like this is a trend in the rh books I've read so far and I'm not sure if I like it haha. While the slow burn makes the eventual payoff feel soooo amazing, I am super impatient! I am here for some trash smut please 😏

✅ THE WRITING STYLE was super casual and absolutely hilarious. Emelle was so funny and I love the back and forth she had with each of the guys. But let's be honest... Evert is clearly the front runner right now - I mean tousled dark hair, bright blue eyes, sinfully flirtatious, what's not to love?! 😂❤️

Overall, I was looking for something fun and easy to read and this definitely delivered, although I'm ready for the steam to take it up a notch in the next book!

Thanks Nayeli ❤️ Yeah it was on my tbr for a while too - I've been saving it for when I was looking for something funny and fluffy to just make me laugh! Definitely recommend it so far

Thanks Marian! ❤️ I can definitely see how this isn't for everyone since Emelle's voice is super strong and might get annoying haha

Lau ♡ I think the romance part is because it's fantasy YA¿? I love a great, hilarious writing style though. In my opinion, if the characters are well written and you can connect with them and the writing style works for you, you are going to at least enjoy the story🤔✨

The first book definitely feels YA except for the fact that sex is mentioned very casually and jokingly almost nonstop 😅 But it's reverse harem so I expect it to get significantly steamier at some point in the series! Thanks Laura!

Lien *sigh* I wish I could read RH too. There are so many RH books out there that sound amazing but I just can't get into them because of the RH aspect. Glad this one was a winner for you, Paige!

Thanks, Lien! 😁 Yeah... this is only my second RH series to be honest haha. The later books in this series might be a little too much for me so I can definitely see how it's for everyone! 😅
