A fantasy Odyssey with elves, dwarves and dragons

This is nine books from the stormborn saga. It does have a few creatures of the sea from the Odyssey, otherwise it's more of a classic fantasy but not as gripping or well written as the lord of the rings. I would say that the story itself is brilliant with great gods and creatures, but unfortunately the way it is written isn't so great. At times it wasn't clear which character was talking. Overall worth it if it is on special.
