This one was good. It had more humor but there were two or three loopholes (kind of) in the story. I was tempted to give this one 5 but they prevented me from doing that. Also there wasn't as much closure as there should have been about the case.

I am totally in love with Roarke. That man has the patience of a saint. I'm sure I would need one like him. Too bad they are only found in books. Oh well.
Another character I liked in this one was Peabody, I hope she becomes a permanent side character :')

And I appreciated that Eve was made to face her demons in this one. I wish now we can get to Roarke too. We got to know a little about him but I am nothing if greedy. And that uptight prick Summerset is starting to get in my good graces even though I have no idea why the hell he treats Eve the way he does.

Rain How fun that you’ve found these books!! Makes me want to re-read them :) Also, yes, Roarke is ridiculously awesome. You know, you can stay in the ‘Roarke and Eve’ room at the Inn BoonsBoro in Maryland!

I agree, this series is really good, and so is Roarke 😌
Oh that's great, I didn't know that - it's things like this that make me wish I lived anywhere close to such amazing spots 😂

Anita In book 1, Eve was extremely rude to Summerset and Roarke. M
