really liked it

I found myself totally engaged with this family drama despite its fairly slow pace and a possibly triggering amount of (view spoiler). I didn't feel nearly done with these characters by the end, and I'd love to see the last dozen pages expanded to another 300-page graphic novel.

Eilonwy The transphobia/homophobia in this book made me realize what a sheltered environment I live in, because I was truly startled by the vitriol. It made me want to go hug every single one of my LGBTQ friends.
And no kidding that this needs a sequel! I really want to see more of Nate, Jess, Darren, et al.

I know the transphobia/homophobia is true to the time of the story, but what makes me sad is despite the progress of the last 15 years, there is still so much hate in the world and so far yet to go.
