Read 2 times. Last read January 16, 2021.

Abridged and adapted version for people like me who are learning English as a second language. It was wonderful to read it along with the audio.

Lol! Debra, this isn't the authentic book, it's an adapted and abridged text, and the audio wasn't read by Hugh Fraser (unfortunately!)

Kate Baxter Hi Janete!
I am glad to see that you're enjoying Agatha Christie novels. The quote you highlighted gave me a tickle.

“Poirot," I said. "I have been thinking."
"An admirable exercise my friend. Continue it.”

Kate, Poirot has always a funny and flamboyant way to speak and behave himself! haha! He's unique!

Ashley Lambert-Maberly And congratulations on learning a second language! I'm attempting Japanese, and can't imagine reading anything as complicated as a mystery novel in that language, not for years yet.
