This book was different just like a lot of things that Shaun David Hutchison writes. I went in this with an open mind because lately magic realism hasn't been my thing. I know Mr Hitchinson uses some in his books, but I enjoyed this some what. I liked the story line just had a hard time liking the main protagonist so much. She kind of got on my nerves. The ending was not satisfying enough for me either. Overall 3.5 ☆☆☆1\2
