The beginning was really good, I wish the rest would've been like that for me. Troy's character sucked me into the story immediately.
Troy's is one of the members of the most famous boy band. His brother Tyson is the star and he has always taken care of him and his whole family. After he discovers that Ty is taking drugs and partying more than ever he quits and decides to book a private fly to LA from Sydney to look for her mom and to ask her to help him out with his little brother.
Brian is the first officer of the private plane that Troy hired, he lived atraumatic experience that doesn't let him being captain without panicking. These two bond after the crash and was somehow interested see them interact with each other.
Both were really great characters but I struggled a lot with the story. After the accident I got bored. This story gave me flashbacks of my teenage-self playing Sims Castaway and being bored as hell during the process (God, I prefer classical Sims.)
This felt more like a survival guide than a romance book. Besides I didn't feel their connection. Not even the "a hot available body" made me feel the spark between them... I was really excited because Keira is one of my fav authors, so it's a shame I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would.
Though, kudos to Keira for writing such interesting characters even though I didn't feel they were meant to be together.
3 stars.
