I am not sure about this one... It is very much a Young Adult read, very silly and very confusing in a way, since the language used is very everyday teen, while it is supposed to represent different class of beings with different levels of knowledge and understanding... If you overlooked that, then the MC, one of those clumsy and calamitous young women I usually love, bugged me with her Damsel in Distress act, supposedly being to clumsy to walk, so that they have to carry her all the time, which goes beyond the plucky independent streaks the women I usually like possess. It was OK overall, but I will have to read the next book in order to make my mind up fully...
The 5 guys who are shaping up to be the MC's male harem, are not shining examples of intelligence either, but the book as a whole is content to stay in the shallow end of the Sea, so it is in keeping with the whole picture. As I said, not bad, but nothing to special either.

Yeah "shallow" is a really good word for this book!

I think plenty of people agree that it’s shallow but that doesn’t stop us from enjoying the experience 😅
