The Boy in the Dress

The first wonderful Walliams book is about a boy named Dennis who meets Lisa and lives out his fantasy of wearing a dress. This creates a few complications, but as in all of Walliams' work, open mindedness and love wins the day! A wonderful tale of tolerance in today's increasingly intolerant world. Fantastic for kids!!!

This book proves that not just girls can wear a dress. He did not like it first but then he went big and tried school. This is one of the best books I've read and by the best author ever.

Agreed Iris! Refreshing! Check out his Bad Dad for a beautiful depiction of a healthy lesbian relationship as well.
Fantastic book about gender and society written at a level for young kids. Highly recommended as an antidote to the poisonous MAGA(t) / Faux News culture war.
