Tip of the Tongue (Doctor Who 50th Anniversary E-Shorts, #5)

I've seen a lot of negative feedback on this story, and I understand it. After all, this is supposed to be a part of series of stories that each focuses on a different incarnation of the Doctor, and he barely even appears! It's basically a 'Doctor-Lite' episode from the Russell T Davies era. There were, however, two reasons I was okay with how it worked out:
One, the characters we did focus on were pretty good, and the story was interesting enough to keep my attention.
Two, because even though the Doctor and Nyssa were absent most of the time, when they did show up they were perfectly written. I like the Fifth Doctor a lot, but lets be honest- his run was all about his companions. He was a quiet idealist- he loved having a group of companions to adventure with. You get a good feel for that here.
