This short story is a nice way to get introduced to the character of Pirio Kasparov. A resourceful teenager stuck in a New England Boarding school, where she's known to be a fixer of problems. Pirio comes across as a sensible and smart YA heroine, the main character of Elisabeth Elo's debut novel North of Boston. I might just try that one out.
