It was only stated and honestly I have no idea if she was or not. It's never addressed which was really annoying. You don't even find out how many people she's even been with. It was okay I wasn't really that crazy about it. Definitely not as good as the first bokk

The hooking up happened before either of them were with the people they ended up with. It's not described either and there were no feelings involved.

They didn't even know the people they ended up with and weren't friends with the girl or guy ether so it was never weird. It was 100% safe

I was investigating more and found out that he actually slept with Yve, the girl from Book 4. But that's referred to in Book 1 not here.

I guess that's why I'm starting to be wary of book series, the MCs always has this web of connections to each other lol

You're saying Con slept with the girl from book 4? I do not remember that at all. I don't think that even makes sense since I'm almost positive she was friends with the girl from book 1. I don't know maybe I'm wrong I don't remember it but honestly it was completely insignificant in the story.

Book 1 was fantastic I was whatever about book 2. Id suggest reading the series but skipping this book.

1&3 were really really good

I read Book 3 and I really liked it,, but I think I'm out now :D ! Just because the h from Book 1 hooked up with another H, it always makes me uncomfortable reading about it because I feel bad for his h if that makes any sense lol :D So I better skip. Glad it worked out for you London and I hope you love Book 4, I don't think they're second best to each other or anything I just don't feel like reading that kind of thing these days.. :D

No, the heroine in book 1 hadn't even met the hero in book 1 when she slept with Con.

Con slept with the heroine from book 4 before meeting the girl from book 1. So the girls weren't even friends at that point I think they met at the vintage store they both work at.

The heroine from book 2 doesn't really know either of the girls.

They're not all friends who hang out and stuff.

Yes- Yve was Charlie's boss and friend and she hooked up with Con. I just reread the parts. I think it's a little gross since she knew Charlie slept with him too, but she did it.

No, I don't think she even knew she had slept with her until afterwards. Remember she met Con first when she first moved to New Orleans. She later started working at the vintage store. I don't think they knew until later

It didn't matter much in book one, but in book 4 if Vanessa slept with Lucas than with Con having slept with Yve it is a little gross

I'm sure Lucas slept with OW if it's a second chance romance. I doubt he was celibate. So it doesn't really matter. I haven't started the book yet I'll let you know

I don't think Simon was happy about Charlie having slept with Con, but she worked for Con so what could she do? Also Charlie and Yve were friends when they both slept with Con. Yve slept with Con right when Charlie was meeting Simon. I just read that part. Charlie tells Con that she knows he slept with Yve

Charlie wasn't super buddies with Vanessa. You'd be right if Charlie was friends with Vanessa but she wasn't. They didn't really know each other.

Who cares she didn't end up with Con so it doesn't really matter. She felt nothing for Con and she didn't want a relationship with him.

Sometimes judging the book from the outside based on random facts can be misleading, I saw that more than once here..so I understand London,, the reason I'm not gonna read the books before Book 3, is that I like to move forward in any series.. I can jump in the middle, but I don't like to go back because I don't like reading about those MCs before they met their one :D .. Anyway .. thanks a lot for all the info London!

No I totally understand it's just that you don't actually read anything about them being with someone else. Like you don't get anything descriptive.

Okay this doesn't bother me at all. The past is the past. We all know Con is a manho and that's why I skipped his book. I am frankly glad that Vanessa moved on. Good for her!

I'm just judging this book. I liked the first one, I won't read Con's book, and I don't know about the others. I would just be unhappy if Lucas slept with Vanessa, but he didn't. :)

Cyndi - London said Lucas was never with Vanessa. Yes, Yve moved on after Lucas sexually only. I am more than sure that Lucas did as well - but we don't get to see it (which is a plus), but the important part is BOTH move on sexually but not emotionally.

Charlie and Simon in Book 1 : Charlie slept with Con before Simon.
Con and Vanessa in Book 2 : They had a ONS that Con didn't remember because he was drunk, after a 2 year separation they meet again. Con slept with Charlie and Yve.
Elle and Lord in Book 3 : I don't think they have a past with any MC.
Luke and Yve Book 4 : Yve slept with Con before Luke.. Luke had a thing for Vanessa but never slept with her.

I am pretty sure that is correct. I was getting my names wrong ED LOL! Con and Vanessa is the only second chance romance. I don't know if Vanessa moved on or not, but i decided to skip this book for 2 reasons. One Con is a huge whore and two the story doesn't even appeal to me in the least.

I know for a fact that book 4 is 100% safe. No ow and no pushing away.
