... ok. I was not expecting all the freaking emotions. Let me first say that Cassis has been my fave out of all Sam’s guys since book 1 so i was LOVING the fact that most the POV’s are his. He was delightful. Broken and tired and so so lonely and the inner turmoil he felt while fighting his need and love for Sam was so angsty and perfect. It made this book even that much better.
The story-line was super interesting. I love that we got to see inside Talon and all the fae goodness. I love that Sam stayed true to herself the entire time she was there and continued to fight for herself and her men.
Wanna know what I loved the most? THE FACT THAT THERE WAS A FREAKING POWER OF 5 CROSSOVER. Soooo.. I wont go into detail because I dont want to spoil it but we get to see old AND new characters from Power of 5 and I am not kidding you when I said I squealed in delight when I realized who was on the page. SQUEALED. Like... woke my 4 year old up because I was so excited about it.
So if anything- you have to read the book for that alone ...more
This is one of my new fave RH's ever. I should have known based on Colette's previous book,⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️(5 stars!)

This is one of my new fave RH's ever. I should have known based on Colette's previous book, Blood Nor Money, that I would enjoy this book as well but I was shocked at both how different it was and how amazing it was.
I won't lie. At first I was all, "how ... exactly does one do a Goldilocks retelling without it being super weird?
Well- here's how.
You take one Blonde haired beauty who makes poor life decisions in general and is absolutely hilarious, add in three gorgeous bear-shifting brothers who couldn't be more opposite, and a psycho ex boyfriend. Add a dash of breaking and entering, combined with a side of self-depreciation. Stir until a mentally manipulative psycho shows up, and you get an absolutely amazing read.
What the best part was? The MC's regularly bring up the fact that she's blonde and they're best shifters and refer to the old tale as an ongoing joke. What could have been a bit of an awkward retelling turned into something hilariously tongue-in-cheek and I was here for it.
Ria, who has to be my fave FMC of Colette's yet, decides to move in with her fairly new boyfriend into a random cabin deep in the woods. Almost immediately after they both get to the cabin, Ria finds out ole boy is cheating on her. So when he leaves the cabin she steals his gun and weed, and does what any scorned girlfriend does- gets high and decides to walk into town after destroying his phone.
Unfortunately, Ria isn't half as prepared for a traipse through the woods and she thinks she is and in her weed induced state she decides it's totally ok to break into a beautiful home she finds in the middle of the woods. There she proceeds to eat the owner's food, break their furniture, use their bath and sleep in their beds.
Of course the owners get home and it's alllll downhill from there ...more

I’m slowly starting to like this series (I’m on the third one.. and sometimes looking back, your opinion changes.. so here I am)
The premise was hilarious.. and I loved the angst of the MMC wanting to deny his mating claim. The FMC was strong but also vulnerable. I liked that she had actual feelings that got hurt.. but damn did she run into his arms real quick when he BARELY FUCKING GROVELED. That lost an entire start for me because I was loving her so so so much and then that happened and I was like “did I..... did I miss like 3 conversations? What just happened?”...more

I have been looking forward to Tridents story since I started this series. So.. 7 books ago? Let me point out that I'm the WORST at finishing series. Usually I start one and quit by book 3 or 4. They all start to blur together. This is soooo not the case here. The character are hilarious and unique. The story-telling is imaginative and fun. The romance is off the charts. Plus the entire idea of dragon demigods is wonderful.
So.. trident. The fun-loving man-whore who's just looking for a good time. I couldn't WAIT to read about the girl who finally brought him to his knees. And this soooo did not disappoint. I won't get into spoilers but let's just say there was a plot twist I *so* did not see coming and it was absolutely lovely. Trident showed so much depth I wasn't expecting while still staying true to himself. The FMC was wonderful and fun to read. And as per usual I'm absolutely itching for the next book. I'm guessing it will be Death's book which is ...more

These books have sucked me in. I mean it. I have stayed up til 2am the last two nights reading and as soon as I dropped my son off at daycare this morning I hightailed it straight to my bedroom to start the next book.
They just keep getting better.
I ran into this author last year at some point- i think I read a few of the Mate books about vampires. Gideon i think was one of them? I thought they were good. Quick, easy entertaining reads. Not a whole lot of substance but still decent.
She has clearly just gotten better the more she writes. I have read a few of her other books sporadically- Some of the Bride Hunt series. Some of the Feral series. I started this one night before last and I’m 1/2 way through the 5th book already. Its insane. This is paranormal shifter romance crack and I’m addicted. I’d say “send help” but please. Dont. I’m begging you. Dont send help....more
Ooookkk. That was NOT AT ALL what I was expecting out of a contemporary from M.Sinclair.
Once again, another freaking amazing FMC and overprotective, Ooookkk. That was NOT AT ALL what I was expecting out of a contemporary from M.Sinclair.
Once again, another freaking amazing FMC and overprotective, crazy guys who love her. This reminds me a bit of some of her PNR’s but without the paranormal part obviously.
I. Was. Entranced. Like holy god... I still dont know how she manages to write these crazy possessive alpha-males the way she does without it getting boring or feeling like the same ass characters over and over. M. Sinclair’s writing JUST GETS BETTER.
