This one just wasn't for me. I strongly dislike the amnesia trope and the kinks are not for me. I don't reduce rating for things like that, just wanted to get it out for future me to remember when looking at my reviews.
For the review: Melody was annoying as hell. I never latched onto Jacob. I never felt the chemistry between the characters. It was all lust based. Honestly, this book felt like it was a suspense or thriller centering around Melody and her ex-husband (among other things) and the romance with Jacob was just a side-plot. It is the 4th book in a series but didn't feel connected to the series at all. It had the characters in it but otherwise it didn't feel right....more
