The side characters were amazing. I think Zoe and Brock are going to be my favorite couple in this series and I just wait to see more of them in nothing but wild. I can’t wait to read book 2, Dallas and Dora are kind of my favorites too and I’m excited to read their book!
The only reason why I’m not giving this book at least 4 stars is for the miscommunication. When I read books with miscommunication I tend to give them 2 stars because it really frustrates me. I don’t know why but in this book the miscommunication didn’t bother me as much as it normally does, and since they still were friends— not like the other books where they’re hating each other because they won’t sit down and talk— I still enjoyed the book.

I have no words! Everything this book was perfect: "I love him beyond recognition. Beyond perception. I love him so fully that it hurts. ”

I have no words! Everything this book was perfect: The characters, the plot, the side characters, everything.
This was such a emotional, friends-to-lovers, forbidden-love story. Thanks to something that happened in the past, Luka and Baylee aren't allowed to talk to each other, glance at each other, or even speak about each other. And then somw changes start to happen and Luka and Baylee find each other working together.
The chemistry between those two was incredible. Their relationship can be seen kind of 'insta-love' but since they're were best friends and then a couple when they younger, seeing them together again after five years of being apart and not having closure, doesn't feel like insta- love (at least not to me).
The plot was incredible. I feel like I was reading ‘the greatest showman’ (If you loved that movie, you’re definitely going to love this book). I loved seeing how supportive the family of each the main haracters were. In the other books — majority of the time— the family of the main characters are always so shitty with them, and seeing how their family was always there for them, was great.
I loved that the characters from ‘Addicted / Calloway Sisters’ were mentioned in this book. I loved those characters and having them in this book, even though they were just being mentioned, was incredible to me.
This story made me so emotional. There were times where I almost cried because I just couldn’t help it. Then at the end, seeing them finally being able to be together, not having to hide their love from the world was really satisfying.
This is the first time that I read an enemies-to-lovers book and I don’t fall in love with it. I love enemies-to-lovers, it’s my favorite b2.5 stars!
This is the first time that I read an enemies-to-lovers book and I don’t fall in love with it. I love enemies-to-lovers, it’s my favorite book trope, so when I read the name and the blurb of this book I really thought that I was gonna love it.
The first 20% of this book I didn’t find it interesting at all, but I knew the book was going to get better because Stone, the male main character, hadn’t appeared. When Stone appeared, the book started to get interesting. I liked Stone, he was a great character. I liked the way he cared about Dusty. Their banter was really interesting and I started to like the book. When got to 55% of the book it started to get a little boring for me and I couldn’t connect with the story anymore.
I’m not saying that this was a bad book, it just wasn’t good for me. I think my brain is tired after reading 158 books this year ...more

3.5 stars!
Don’t get surprised because I’m giving this book 3.5 stars. I don’t enjoy too much ‘second chance romance’ books and that’s why I didn’t enjoy this book as much as the first one.
I’d like to thank Mima for being the best side character in this book. I loved that woman since book one. She reminded me so much of my grandmother when she was giving Shay advice. Grandmothers are the best.
”Sé valiente. Sé fuerte. Sé amable. Y quédate. Be brave. Be strong. Be kind. And stay.”
Landon and Shay are one my favorite couple ever. We get to see them falling in love in book one and in this book we see them breaking up and years later giving their love another chance.
“That was it. We were done. Landon and Shay were officially over.”
Even though it hurt me a lot to see them breaking up, I think Shay took the best decision by breaking up things with Landon. Their relationship was starting to become toxic for each other and in situations like this, the best thing is going on separate ways.
Now, the question that I was asking myself while reading the book was, what happened to Monica? At the end of book she was going to rehab, but in this book we didn’t see her at all, she wasn’t even mentioned. Did she go to rehab? Is she better? Is she dead? What happened to Shay’s father? At the beginning of the book Shay told Landon that he asked her for money, but after that? He wasn’t mentioned. Before the time-jump we got to see Tracey being an annoying friend, and ten years later she isn’t there. What happened to her? Did she move out of the country? City? Did she and shay end up in bad terms? I guess we will never know.
Something that I didn’t like of the book was Shay and Landon being fuck buddies or as Shay would say “it’s more like a fuck acquaintance”. We didn’t even get to see them hooking and I really don’t know what was the point of that if we weren't even going to get to see it.
In conclusion, I love Shay and Landon. I loved seeing Landon trying to earn Shay’s trust after breaking her hate ten years ago. I loved that at the end of the book we got to see that Shay’s dream had finally come true. These two are my babies and I’m really gonna miss them.

This book wasn’t what I was expecting. I knew this book was gonna be sad because all the people who recommended me this book cried while they were reading it and it was a surprised to me that I didn’t cry once I’ve finished the book.
This book is about two enemies who make a bet on who is going to fall in love first and we all know how that turned out.
I wasn’t expecting at all that Landon was gonna be suffering from depression. In the books that I’ve read, it's always the girl that’s dealing with this situations like this, so it was nice too see this in a guy point of view.
I loved seeing Landon and Shay going from enemies to lovers. I’m a sucker for that trope and seeing them hating each other and then starting to fall in love was funny and cute.
I think this is one of the few high school romance books that I’ve enjoyed this year. I’ve read a few this year and so far I’ve only enjoyed around two.
In this book we can also see Shay’s mother being mentally abused by her husband (shay’s father), and it was really satisfying seeing her opening her eyes, choosing herself and finally leaving.
I can’t wait to read part 2 of their story and seeing them getting the happy ending they deserved.

This book is the continuation of Nino and Kiara’s story. It picks up right where ‘twisted emotions’ ended. Half of the book was set at the same time and after ‘twisted pride’.
Thanks to this book I got to know a lot more about Adamo. He is the softest boy in this series and also one of my favorite characters.
I loved all the scenes with the babies. The Falcone twins are so adorable and I really loved Nevio. That boy is gonna be as crazy as his father lol.
“You are how I wish my brothers could have been. I don’t care what people say about you, I love you like a brother.”
Something that I wanted since ‘twisted emotions’ was Kiara and Remo as friends or having some kind of sister-brother relationship and I finally got it in this book. They had some scenes that were really cute and kind of emotional.
It was really great seeing Kiara’s character development once again. After all she’s been through, in this book we finally see her how she let go of demons and won her fight. The ending of their story was really beautiful. All Kiara wanted was to be mother and in this book they had two beautiful baby boys!
In conclusion, this was a good book. So far I’ve enjoyed all the books in this series and I can’t wait to read Savio and Gemma’s story in January!...more

One of the reasons why sometimes I don’t like to read romance series is because once I’m finished, it’s hard for me to let go of the characters.
‘Beard Necessities’ is the continuation of Claire/Scarlet and Billy’s story and it’s set 18-19 years after ‘Beard With Me’.
Even though, Cletus and Jenn are my favorite couple in the series, I think this will be my favorite book in the series. This book gave me all I wanted and more. I got to see all the characters together and thanks to Cletus Winston, Billy and Scarlet finally got back together.
This series will always be special to me. When I started it I didn’t think that I’d love this characters as much as I do now but look at me now, in love with these characters. This series made me laugh, smile and sometimes even shed one or 2 tears.
Billy and Claire went through so much and seeing them getting together after almost two decades was really satisfying.
This was a great ending to the series. I’ll miss reading this books. The epilogue was really my favorite chapter in this series, I have no words to explain how happy it made me.

This book made me so sad that **spoiler alert** “If the soul becomes dyed with the color of its thoughts, then my soul was Scarlet.”
4.5 stars!
This book made me so sad that just thinking about it makes me want to cry. I knew this book was gonna hurt since the story is set in the past, but I didn’t expect it to hurt this bad. Billy and Claire are my second favorite couple (Cletus and Jenn are the first one) in this series and I was dying to read their story. Now that I’ve read their story, I’m hurt and I’m mad.
This book made me love the characters even more. Billy has become one of favorite characters ever. He’s loyal, kind and he’d do anything to protect his family and make sure they’re safe and happy. Scarlett is of my favorite female characters. She’s been through so much and she’s still full of light. I loved how funny she was.
Seeing the Winston brothers as kids was really cute. They were the same way as they are as adults. Cletus Winston is still one of the best characters in this series; A kid or an adult, he never fail to make me laugh.
Ben McClure aka one of the must disgusting characters ever written. He was 19 and started to hit on Claire when she was just 14!!!!!!!!!!! And then he married her at the age of 15!!!!!!!! That was something that I wasn’t expecting at all.
Excited to read ‘Beard Necessities’ and see this characters getting the happy ending they deserved. ...more

2.5 - 3 stars!
This is actually my least favorite book in the series. It was a miracle that I finished it because I thought about dnf-ing it many times but I don’t like to dnf books, so I finished it.
This book was good, it wasn’t that bad but I just couldn’t connect with the story. The book had a lot of moments that I found boring and I had to skim some parts.
The only reason I didn’t dnf this book was because I wanted to see if I was going get some Billy and Claire moments. I also had some Cletus’ scenes and it made the book a little more interesting to me.
I enjoyed all the moments when Simone and Roscoe were together. They were really cute and I like them as a couple. They had some miscommunication and it kind of ruined the book for me.
The last 15% of the book was a plot twist that I wasn’t expecting. It was really good and that is what is making me give this book 3 stars.
Excited to finally be able to read Billy’s books! He is my second favorite in this series....more

This book was way better than t “I love you.” “You do?” “I do, with my fucking dead heart. With every fucking fiber of my being.”

This book was way better than the first one. The main characters were amazing and their story was the cutest!
Nino Falcone was nothing like I thought he’d be. I loved the way he treated Kiara since the day he meet her. He taught her not to be ashamed of who she was and how to protect herself. He was very patience with her, he was perfect.
Kiara is my favorite main female character so far. Throughout the book we see her struggling with her past, and it was great seeing her development. I loved her since the beginning.

Well, this book wasn’t as good as I thought it would be. I did like it, Shelly is one of favorite female characters in this series; I also learned a lot about ocd, I think the author did a good job but yet... I didn’t enjoy this book as the previous ones.
At the beginning of the book I found Beau a little annoying. I didn’t like that Shelly didn’t have many povs, and the ones she had were really short. I feel like this book was more Beau and in my opinion Shelly was more interesting than him. I also didn’t like that we didn’t get more of the other siblings; Roscoe’s book is next and I think he should’ve had more scenes in this book....more

This was book was everything and more than I wanted! I fell in love with Cletus in book 1 and since that moment I knew that his book was gonna be my favorite and guess what? This book is my favorite in the series so far!
I don’t think that any of the other book can be better than this one. For me this book will be the best one in the series!
“This woman was my future. She would be the mother of my children. This was our beginning. I couldn’t wait for the middle. And I never wanted it to end.”
Cletus and Jeniffer were everything! I have no words to describe how much I love them! Read them fall in love was everything! Cletus at the beginning thought that they weren’t suited and when he started to realize that they were they were perfect for each other was beautiful! I really love this family!
I can’t wait to read the other books! I’m so excited to read Billy and Claire’s story because their moments are killing me!

Before I started this series I really wanted to read this book because I knew that the female main character was Latina and plus size, so imagine how excited I was when I found out that Sienna was both Latina and plus size.
Once again Penny didn’t let me down! I really loved Jethro. He was amazing! I didn’t think that I was gonna love him since I didn’t get too much about him in book one but here I am, in love with him.
Sienna is already one of my favorite girls. I love how confident and funny she was. I loved that she didn’t care what people thought about her or her body, the only option that mattered to her was hers, as it should be.
"A woman is a slut, but a man is a man-slut. Why is the default gender of a slut a woman? Why can’t sluts just be sluts instead of having to differentiate the gender?”
This book was kinda insta-love (something that I didn’t know) and I thought that I wasn’t gonna like it because I don’t really like that, I prefer slow-burn romances where we can see the characters fall in love, but I loved how the author developed this book.

Gavin was a fantastic character. I loved him so much. The way he loves Thea and his daughters is the best! Every character in this series is fantastic.
I really can’t wait to read book 2 because I know it’ll be as good as this one or better.
Please, read this book! You won’t regret it. ...more
