“If you need to run away, run away to me.”
I got an arc for this book but I couldn’t read before it came out because I was on a reading slump and I didn’t want to force myself to read it.
I am glad that I chose this book as my first read of the month. I loved these characters and their story. These two met when they were children, but they lost communication after something happened. They reunited again fifteen years after Kennedy moved to Jax’s hometown.
This was an emotional story; They have both been through a lot and I loved seeing their character development.
I really liked this book and I can’t wait to read the next books in this series. ...more

This is the second book of the Twin Lies duology and begins right where the first one ended.
I really enjoyed the plot of this series. It has the mystery, thriller & suspense that makes you not want to stop reading. You’re always wondering who did it and obviously, you don’t trust anyone because at one point everyone seems guilty.
In this book we learned more about Baz. In the first book he was a really mysterious character but in this book thanks to his povs we were able to see what he was thinking and learned more about him.
My only problem with this book was that it was too long. In my opinion the book could’ve been shorter but I feel like author tried to make it a little longer by prolonging the ending.
I enjoyed the conclusion of this book. If you like thriller romances, I’d recommend you this book.

I’ve never read a book where one of the main characters had amnesia; so when I found out that female main character in this book was going to have amnesia, I immediately wanted to read it.
This book is about Reina Ellis. She woke up in a hospital with a fiancé and life that she doesn’t remember. Throughout the book we can see Reina learning about the old her. The old Reina was the typical high-school mean girl, which kind of surprised me because they are all actually in college. After Reina learned how mean and cruel she was toward everyone, she tries to redeem herself and be a better person.
I really enjoyed the plot of the book. The first two chapters were really confusing but once I got to Reina’s povs, the real story begins.
I don’t even know what to say about Asher, other that I’m not his biggest fan. There were some things that I didn’t like about him but I enjoyed some of his scenes with Reina. Asher was a mysterious character. We didn’t get to know much about him. I wish we could’ve gotten a chapter on his POV, so I could know what was going through his head. But hopefully in the second book he’ll get at least one.
I can’t wait to read the second book. The ending of this book was something I wasn’t expecting at all and I just can’t believe it.

I really enjoyed this book more than I thought I would. I didn’t like first book too much and I never read the second one—I’m going to read it soon— so when I started this book I wasn’t sure if I was going to enjoy it.
I’m not a fan of second chances romance but lately I have found myself enjoying these books a lot.
I like the was way this book was written. This book has three parts: in the first part we see how their relationship started. It was kind of ‘hate to love’ but they didn't actually hate each other so it’s more of a ‘frenemies to lovers story’. In the second part is when the ‘second chance’ romance starts. It’s set two years later after the first part; We see them trying to reconnect but they’re still some things are keeping them from getting officially back together, and the 3rd part we see Harper trying to earn Lance’s trust back.
I really loved this characters. They went through some similar things, but they don’t know that until the end. They are strong, hard-working and ambitious.
I really enjoyed the epilogue. In my opinion, all the last books of a series should have an epilogue like this one.
“What if this moment, right here, is the moment that changes your life?”

“She’s mine and I’m hers and that’s what matters here.”
This book is kind a ‘hate to love’, fake dating with slow-burn. It has a little angst and like books it had drama.
I loved everyone character in this book. I really loved Demi; she was sweet and a little badass. Nico was different to some of the male characters I’m used to read and I loved that. Since the tittle of the book is ‘Fake it ‘till you break it’ I was expecting him to be like the typical male characters that first treat the girl badly and at the end they come back asking for their forgiveness but he was different. He was always sweet to her and he was always there when she needed someone just like she was there for him when he needed someone too.
I really enjoyed seeing these two characters that were supposed to act as if they were in love, fake it, actually falling in love. I loved for their chemistry, the flirting... they were a really cute couple.
I really liked the plot of this book. Even though it was faking dating, a trope that has been done a lot, their story is different to the other fake-dating books I’ve read.
I know that this is an standalone but I wouldn’t be mad if the author decides to make this book a series, because the side characters were really cool and I liked them.

So, this is the Beard Science spin-off from the Winston Brothers series. When I was reading the first book in that series, Cletus became my favorite character right away. I think Cletus is one of the funniest characters I’ve ever met, you can’t help but fall in love with the guy.
When I read Beard Science, I fell in love with Cletus even more and obviously I fell in love with Jenn too. Cletus and Jenn are one of the cutest couple ever and when I heard about this spin-off, I was beyond excited.
I really enjoyed this book, I loved seeing more of them as a couple and seeing that, just like any couple, they had some difficulties but made it work.
I found the plot entertaining but I won’t lie, it wasn’t what I expected. At 65% of the book, I was already tired and just wanted all the mystery to end. But if you’re a fan of these two like me, you are still going to enjoy the book.

These two are my favorite couple in this series. They became my favorites as soon as I read that scene in The Perfect First where Berk received a letter from a someone and he wanted to know who sent it. In The Second We Met we met Jules. I loved her as soon as she made her first appearance. She was really cute, kind and she loved to bake and pole dance.
I loved how this book turned out to be. In the previous books, Berk was the funny friend. He always looked happy, like he didn’t have anything to worry about, but in this book we see that Berk has gone through a lot. He feels like he isn't good enough and that in the end everyone will leave him. Berk’s story has such an important message. We see a person acting so happy, like they have no worries in life but we actually don’t know what that person is going through. Jules is my favorite female character in this series. Jules has a lot of insecurities and she wants to love herself but she can’t start to love herself when the people that are supposed to love her are the ones making her feel down.
These two are defiantly perfect for each other. Jules thought that Berk was never going to be attracted to her because of her body and there was a time where Berk thought that Jules was never going to date him because he didn’t have anything. Berk, like the perfect man he, loved her not because of her body but because of how she was and Jules, too, loved him because of that.
I loved seeing Every, Emmet and Max (from kings of rittenhouse) here. I read the prequel recently and Every and Emmet became my favorites as soon as I finish it. This book kind of spoiled me because here we see them already together, but I’m glad they appeared here because now all I want to do is read their story. I also loved Max Hale; I know she appears in Every and Emmet’s book and I can’t wait to see her there too. I was told she’s getting her own book and I can’t wait to read it.
I was a little sad that we didn’t get to see too much of Seph and Reece but I still loved their appearances. Nix and Elle were really cute. I loved seeing them as a couple.
Marisa and LJ, I am so ready for these two. Childhood best friends to lovers. Thanks the lord their book is coming out this year because after the ending of this book I don’t think I can wait any longer.
Overall, I loved these characters and their story. The only reason why I’m not giving this book five stars was that I was in a reading slump when I started the book and I couldn't enjoy the first chapters. This is one of my favorite books of the year and I highly recommend it.

This book was really sweet, light and funny. The characters were so cute and hillarious that it was imposible not to fall in love in love with them or at least like them.
When I started this book, I thought that it was gonna similar to the movie called ‘set it up’ but the only thing that they have in common is that the main characters are assistant.
Overall, this a good book. I really enjoyed it and I can’t wait to read more books by these women in the future!

I know that I will read more books that I’ll love and that will be especial to me, but this book will always be my number one.
When I read Cruel Prince, I cared more about these two than I cared about the main characters. They had two scenes in that book but those two scenes were enough for me to fall in love with them.
I want everyone to read this book, because the message in this book is just.... everything. There people out there who thinks that in orden for them to be pretty they have to skinny and that’s not true. If you’re skinny, curvy, plus size or fat, you need to know that you’re beautiful not matter your weight, height or color. We are all beautiful.
I think Sawyer Church is one of the female characters that I can relate the most. All things she used to think about herself, I used to think the same things about myself too. I cried a lot reading this story, suffered a lot too, but the end of this book made really happy. Cole Covington, I loved him before I’ve read this book but after reading book? I have no words. All Cole wanted was be loved. He always felt like he was left out, that nobody wanted him and that would’ve been better if he were dead. Cole and Sawyer are perfect for each other, they see the best of each other, and if you’d ask me I would say they’re soulmates. I loved how much Cole loved Sawyer. He never cared about weight, he always told her she was beautiful and he loved her because of who she was inside and out.
These two mean everything to me. Please, someone tell me where I can adopt fictional characters because I’m ready to adopt these two.
I can’t wait to read Bianca’s book. I didn’t care about her in Cruel Prince but in this book? I loved her. She’s my wicked bitch, my favorite mean girl. I’m so ready for her.
Everyone please read this book!!

“You’re going to rule this world, just like you rule mine.”
4.75 stars!
I think this book is on my top 5 of favorite books of the year. I know t “You’re going to rule this world, just like you rule mine.”
4.75 stars!
I think this book is on my top 5 of favorite books of the year. I know that I’ve given around 4 books 4.75-5 stars, but this book? This book has made me emotional the most.
When I started this book, I didn’t know what I was reading, I didn’t know what it was about; So, when I read the first two pages I decided to read the blurb. The book is about a married couple—Rosie and Dominic— who have a of lack of communication. The only time when they do communicate is on Tuesdays nights when they’re going to have sex. Then, one night Rosie arrived home and she realized that she’s tired of this situation, of living in a house where she feels alone because she and Dominic don’t communicate.
I loved the characters, not only because they have Latino heritage, but also because of the way they are. I loved when Rosie decided to leave the house in order to follow her dreams but what I loved the most was seeing Dominic willing to do anything get her back, even if it meant doing something that he’s not comfortable doing. Seeing him supporting her dreams and also helping to make them come true? The best. And I also loved seeing their character development as a couple.
Let’s talk about the side character. I never read ‘Fix Her Up’ according to some reviews it wasn’t so good, so I lost all interest in it, but I really liked them as side characters. They were a really cute couple and they seem extremely in love. Now, the side character that really stole all my attention were Bethany and this new character (Can I say his name? I don’t know), their banter was fantastic, sexual tension? Please, get a room. They’re kind of like “enemies to lovers” and since I’m a sucker for that trope, I fell for them inmediately.
“Texas called, Wes. It wants its rodeo clown back.” “Oz called. They’re missing a witch.”
I can’t really wait for their book. I don’t know when it’s coming out but I’m already anxious.
If you loved/liked ‘The Bromance Bookclub’ I really think you’ll love/like this book and even if you didn’t like it, I still think you’re like this book. It was really cute and emotional. One of my favorite second chances romance book, actually I think this is my favorite.
The only reason why I’m not giving this book 5 stars was for that little conflict at 90% but it was still okay, I still loved the book. I highly recommend it and I hope you love/like it as much as I did.
“You shine,” Dominic said gruffly. “So bright.” Rosie twined their fingers together. “We shine together.”
