Alleron tells the Arcani he wishes their help using the theory of Calendin's Convergence to help Charity be free of the soulbond. They are not receptive of the idea until Charity suggests that she will show them how to activate the city's wards in exchange for their help. The deal is sealed and with many challenges occurring before the Mad King shows up to put a monkey wrench in the works. This is a really good story....more
