✯✯5 Kali & Dark Filled Stars!!!✯✯ OK I’m not going to lie to you I finished this book a few days ago and I honestly don’t know what to say about it ✯✯5 Kali & Dark Filled Stars!!!✯✯ OK I’m not going to lie to you I finished this book a few days ago and I honestly don’t know what to say about it. And, I’m saying that for two reasons. The one reason is Bc this book is the first book in the duet so it ends on a crazy part of the story where your jaw drops to the floor and you are left going “WTF you have got to be kidding me!!!” I am SO excited and anxiously waiting for the next book Bc I NEED to know that Kali FINALLY gets her own HEA and I’m honestly really not sure who I want Kali to end up with… Sunshine or Dark.. Bink Cummings has been one of my FAVORITE go-to authors who can put a book on Goodreads or Amazon and not have any details other than Details Coming Soon and I WILL add to my TBR list & preorder without knowing anything about it and it’ll never fail I end up LOVING the characters and storyline and everything in between. Dark & Deceitful was NO different If you’re a fan of Bink then you are familiar with The Sacred Sisters MC. This book follows Kali, her very complicated ex/husband on paper and in his mind, mouth, heart and everything that is the man Dark and his father who’s been picking her up and taking care of her since he met her when she was sixteen years old and her mom was dying but Kali and Sunshine’s relationship is confusing as confusing can be. They’re all part of The Sacred Sisters MC but they’re Nomads. So, they go wherever the next job is located. I don’t want to give away too much so I’ll try to be brief. Kali and Dark have been together since they got married when they were still teenagers. But, nearly a decade ago everything changed for Kali, Dark and their two sons when Dark came home from being gone on a job fourteen months longer than he was supposed to be gone. But, Dark didn’t come back home alone. Instead he had a newborn baby girl who happened to be his and her mother right there with them. Dark bought the house two doors down from Kali where he’s been living with his new family all while refusing to sign divorce papers no matter how many times Kali files them. No matter how much she hates Dark she loves his daughter like she loves their boys so Kali makes it work the best way that she can even though she her brain, body and heart all fight for how she feels whenever she’s around Dark but Kali knows that she must keep him at arms length or she’ll never survive from being hurt by Dark again. And, then there’s Sunshine. He really is her bright spot in her life. The guy who has always been there to pick her up and makes sure she’s safe. Sunshine’s also the guy who cleans up after she’s done with her assignments for The Secret Sisters MC. But, he’s more than that even though they haven’t crossed over that one sacred line yet no matter how hard it is for them not to. When Dark shows up letting Kali know she’s up for her next assignment she thought she was fully prepared for it. But, Dark lets her know that they’ll be working it together it’s going to be about a month long job and it’s going to be the dangerous one yet. Kali will do anything to save woman of all ages and kids from being sold and trafficked by the worst men possible and this job was no different. Until things with Dark gets complicated Bc they gotta stay in character in order to stay safe and get the job done. She knows that what happens on a job stays on the job until the one job that Dark went on that broke apart their family. But, when Kali finds out exactly the answers to the questions that she has had for a decade plus she realizes that Dark wasn’t the only one lying to her face and everything that Kali thought she knew has all been one big lie and she can’t even look at the people who have always meant the most to her. OMG no joke I finished this book at like 4:40am and I literally sat right up with my jaw dropped and thinking WTF you can’t be serious?!?! I then went to Amazon to see when the second part was available and I saw it wasn’t coming out until NEXT year I may or may not of cursed out Bink but I won’t confirm or deny which one LOL. I’m also having trouble deciding who I want Kali to eventually end up with. Bc, I wanna hate Dark but I just can’t. Then there’s Sunshine I just can’t figure out what their relationship is and isn’t and the entire he’s her father-in-law thing that keeps getting in the way. Either way I’m going to be here for the next phase of Kali, Dark and Sunshine’s journey and I really did love catching up with Pixie. I’m also wanting Bink to write Kali and Dark’s son’s stories. Bc, they sound yummy. ...more |

I knew wh ✯✯5 Loki & Sparkle Filled Stars!!!!✯✯ OMG when I tell you that K. E. Osborn continues to be one of my FAVORITE authors I’m not kidding. I knew when I finished reading Rebellious that Loki and Bea’s story was going to be crazy. Growing up it was always Jason, Theo, Bea and Alex. Not only were they best friends but Bea and Alex found themselves madly in love with each other but Theo let it be known that he wanted Alex to keep his hands to himself or else. So, Bea and Alex kept their relationship a secret with the hope that they could go public. But, when tragedy struck everything changed in their relationship. It’s thirteen years later and they have only communicated through emails. But, when Bea’s health and wellness app was hacked and she was being blackmailed she calls the one person that she knows can help her. It’s been thirteen years since Alex has been near or spoken to Bea in person other than just going back and forth over emails. Alex has joined the Defiance MC and he’s their VP and he’s their tech guy and he goes by Loki. Him and Theo went in on Bea’s app and he will find out who hacked into it and is blackmailing her. But, Loki is still in love with her and yet he’s so mad at her for leaving him when he needed her the most. Bea has put so much into her health and wellness app and it helps people and she’d be devastated if it got out to the public that it was hacked. Loki, Alpha, Haven and everyone else keep telling her that she is part of Defiance and that they will figure out who is behind it and why. They were all completely shocked when they found out who was behind it and why. These two absolutely belonged together!!! Anyone that was around them could see how much they loved each other and how much they craved each other with the exception of Theo. They were SOOO hot but they also had so much baggage that they had to sort through until they could get to a good place and it wasn’t an easy task. And, you have to think about everything else that Defiance has going on with The Rojas Cartel, The Steel Serpent MC, The Nest, and everything that is going on with the Prospects and with their very own mental health issues and it boils down to being a lot of things going on and I’m living for it!!! Once I started this book I did NOT put it down until it was finished. Just like it is with every single book that K. E. Osborn writes. I was hoping to get Wes’s story ever since he was introduced as Sadie’s brother and he was in The Steel Serpent MC and then he was brought in to be Defiance’s prospect. I have wanted to get inside his head so I’m very happy that his story is next. ...more |

✯✯5 Little Runner & Guardian Angel Filled Stars!!!✯✯ I knew when I first read Take This Regret that I had found an author that was going to be one of ✯✯5 Little Runner & Guardian Angel Filled Stars!!!✯✯ I knew when I first read Take This Regret that I had found an author that was going to be one of my go to favorite authors and since then she continues to be one of my favorite authors with every single book she releases. From Here To Eternity was no different!!! River Tayte and his family all moved to Moonlit Ridge after their friends moved to Redemption Hills. River, his brothers and sister Raven have seen dark and the dark still haunts them all. River will do whatever he has to so his son Nolan doesn’t know what the dark feels like. River and his brothers lives his lives single Bc he knows that he’s not a good man and he knows that he will bring a good girl down to the dark and he won’t do that to anybody. But, when Charleigh Lowe comes into his tattoo shop wanting him to give her her first tattoo it does something to him. He can tell by looking at her that she’s scared and she’s running away from someone. But, when he sees what she wants tattooed on her he can tell that she just might understand what he’s gone through and that she just might understand him. River doesn’t know how to have her and how he’ll keep her, Nolan and the rest of his family safe from what’s bound to happen. Charleigh knew the minute she laid her eyes on River that he was a dangerous man but she realized quickly that she could trust him and that he wouldn’t hurt her. She has been on the run for years now and she’s constantly looking over her shoulder. Whenever she feels like she’s been found she picks up and moves. Charleigh figured out that Moonlit Ridge was different and that she hoped that she could stay. Charleigh and River keep trying to figure out how to get away from each other Bc they’re both holding onto their own secrets. But, thanks to River’s son and sister Nolan and Raven they keep finding themselves being brought together and whenever they are together they find it harder and harder to stay away from each other. Their chemistry is off the charts hot and anyone who is near them can see and feel it. Just as they finally give into it their past comes back and shows its ugly face again. River will do anything to keep them safe but Charleigh refuses to sit back any longer and insists on being there with him to take out the real devil in their stories. OMG I honestly cannot believe that I am getting ready to say this but… Move over Trent Lawson Stefanie’s got a new man!! A. L. Jackson first gave me Sebastian Stone and then there was Trent Lawson and now I’ve found myself River Tayte. This book got me so hot and so bothered it’s unbelievable. But, then you gotta add Charleigh Lowe onto the list. She’s an incredibly strong and beautiful woman who went through some of the worst things and she did what she had to do to survive. Once I started this I couldn’t put it down until I finished it. There’s one thing that A. L. Jackson does in her stories that others don’t and it’s one of the things I love most about her books. She writes them in duel POV and then randomly throughout the book she puts a chapter in from the main character’s life from childhood to months before the story begins. Those chapters are parts of the character lives that give you an insight on how they are today. From Here To Eternity was no different. I loved seeing how River and Charleigh’s story came together. This was amazing and I’m absolutely looking forward to seeing Raven and Otto’s story!!! ...more |

There’s multiple authors writing The Royal Bast ✯✯5 Dark Stars!!!✯✯ This isn’t the first book from this MC but it is the first for this MC Chapter. There’s multiple authors writing The Royal Bastards MC. This is from the bad boys from Tampa. All the MC’s earn money thru their own business’s. Some chapters might work together. But, the guys from Tampa aren’t into the heroine business like their closest friends in Miami. Nope!!! They deliver packages that are dropped via bloat and when I saw packages I mean women. They got into business with a slum who grabs women from one location and has them shipped and sold to God knows who. None of the other MC’s agree with it but stay outta the Tampa guys work. Nycto and the boys head out to do another pickup. Nobody was expecting the night to end up in the direction it headed. Nycto opens up the container and comes face to face with a women standing front and center trying to protect the rest, ESP her younger sister Ivy. There was something about Eva that made him do something he’s never done before. Nycto made the decision to not send Eva with the rest of the ladies. But, in order for Eva to ever truly accept him he’d have to save her sister as well. Nycto just doesn’t plan on telling Eva right away about Ivy. One minute Eva and Ivy are enjoying themselves and the next they’re waking up in a shipping container filled with other women. When the container opens there’s men all wearing vests with the same logo on it. Eva doesn’t know to expect but there’s something about eyes in the guy in charge. She knows she should be afraid of him but for whatever reason she’s not. Next thing Eva realizes she is waking up in the same guy room. Nycto lets her know he didn’t send her to get sold off like the others and that he’ll continue looking for her sister. One minute Nycto and Eva are at each other’s throats and the next they can’t keep their hands off each other. Neither one of them know how to handle their feelings for each other and the situation they’re in at the moment. Nycto’s trying to do what’s best for his club and for Eva and Ivy. He also knows that if he can’t figure out a way to deal with not delivering the girls to the drop off it’ll not only affect his club but ripple to every other chapter across the country. Nycto just can’t help himself there was something about Eva that made him see light for the first time and not make him want to run back to the darkness that he loves so much. I finished this book quick!! Nycto is addicting as is Void and the rest of the guys. Even Eva and Ivy I fell for. This entire MC is different then I’ve seen before. They’re clubhouse is in a bunker!! And, their brick cell and just everything that goes along with how they take care of those who’ve crossed them is legit the first time I’ve read it. It’s dark, twisted and yet I’m all about it. Wonder what that says about me lol. This is a must read book!!! Void and Ivy are next and I’m jumping up and down in my seat excited to read it. Osborn or any author but it’s completely different from every other MC book that I’ve read. It has been awhile since I read the first two book’s but it honestly didn’t take me long to remember what previously happened with the first two stories/couples and was glad Scarlett and Ominous were the last two to get their HEA. But, add in Charli McEvoy Ominous’s best friend and a HUGE part of his backstory. We start off six years earlier when Ominous was known as Rafe Novak was a US Special Force soldier. He was in charge and him and his guy’s had their guard down and they were ambushed. Rafe and Charli a humanitarian aid worker were the only ones to get out alive and out of everybody that didn’t make it out one was Jed. Charli’s husband and Rafe’s best friend. It turned out Charli was pregnant and she didn’t get the chance to tell Jed before he passed away and Rafe swore to protect Charli and her daughter Oaklyn. Six years later and Rafe has joined the Royal Bastards MC Tampa Florida and goes by the name Ominous. He’s still close with Charli and Oaklyn but Scarlett has entered the picture. She works as a bartender at the bar and she’s been pursuing him for awhile now. Ominous has tried pushing her away for awhile but he’s finding it harder & harder to stay away. Ominous is worried that with his PTSD he’s afraid he’ll hurt her physically. But, after talking about it with Charli he realizes if Scarlett isn’t willing to run away from him even knowing & seeing it firsthand then he shouldn’t fight it. Scarlett wants Ominous. She’s seen him when he’s laughing and smiling and she’s seen him at his complete worst and yet she loves and wants him the same amount. Now that he’s not pushing her away and they’re both in their enjoying life. Until she was attacked and her stood up for her and got sent to jail for 90 days and he pushed her away completely and she keeps being told it’s for her safety. Either way she won’t give up on them. They originally thought she was the target until Ominous comes face to face with the person behind it and he’s legit looking at a ghost. A ghost that’s haunted him the last six years. Ominous will do whatever he has to in order to protect the three ladies in his life that he loves and cares about more than anything in the world. OMG I legit couldn’t put this book down once I opened it and I’m so upset it’s ending but excited to see what K. E. Osborn releases next. But, that doesn’t mean everything is back to normal in the Agency. Luca’s been part of the Agency for awhile now. He’s on S07 team and they’re the best the Agency has. Luca is the joker on the team. The loud mouth of the group, the one whose always saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. But, when it’s time to get down to business Luca doesn’t play. His S07 team is not only his team, his coworkers. No. They’re his family and he won’t let anything happen to them. When Everly comes to their team something happens to Luca. He wants Everly to see the real him. Not just the loud mouth joker. But, him the Luca. Not the one he made when his mom threw him away. But, when they get sent to do a mission that involves somebody from Axel’s past things don’t go as planned. When Luca gets hurt he does the only thing he thinks is right and that’s to push Everly away before she gets hurt. Even if it kills him inside. Everly just wants to make her father proud. Team S07 goes with an injured Luca and Everly realizes that there’s an Agency trader in team S09. Holy mother hell!! This book had everything. It was hot, suspenseful and full of omg wtf moments. Addison Jane and KE Osborn sure know how to write a story that’ll keep you guessing from beginning to the end and even then you can’t believe. I can’t wait to see what’s gunna happen. She’s def bad news for him. He’s already dealing with a messy divorce, custody and Elle makes him loose his breathe with one look. He’s 8yrs older than her and can’t risk doing something stupid. Connor hires her but decides to keep thing’s 100% professional and at arm’s length. Elle Bishop has always wanted to be a veterinarian. She was excited when Connor took her on and taught her. She’s learned so much from him. Elle’s not blind she can see how gorgeous he is but 99.999% of the time he’s a complete tool to her. She’s not sure why but she just goes with the flow. This book has duel POV and we go from their first meeting in the prologue. Kennedy Fox does an amazing job at writing what’s going on and then the next chapter or paragraph the time jump’s till we’re at the end of Wrangling The Cowboy where Elle learns Connor has a daughter. When Connor starts letting Elle into the parts of him that he’s kept to himself thing’s definitely take a turn. They’ve been so attracted to each other but kept it to themselves. Now that everything’s out there it’s either they’re in or out Bc neither one wanna play games. Needless to say they’re both in and not looking back. I’ve been rooting for Connor and Elle for so long. Thing’s definitely weren’t easy for them. But, it was worth the wait. This two are perfect together!! It’s always nice seeing the rest of the Bishop family. Sometimes depending on the time frame you might be at a party or girl’s night that we’ve been to before but you’re getting a different POV. I love it!! Now, I’m all ready for Ethan and Harper!! I was excited to see that Leo was the second billionaire out of this amazing group of five best friend’s that was going to get his very own HEA and ESP after the way he got screwed over in book one. Leo and Jules met two years ago at a party. Jules thought he was a costume party so she dressed up as Mystique. Blue body paint and special skull belt and all. They really hit it off or so they both thought but when one sees something and leaves without saying anything they both end up loosing. Jules is working as Leo’s assistant but that’s not her endgame. She has always wanted to be the manager at The Mayfair hotel where she’s worked at for a while as did her mom before her. Jules knows the manager is running it into the ground and that Leo doesn’t care about it. She plans on showing him how good of a worker she is and when she finishes writing up her management plan she’ll bring it to him in hopes that he’ll give her the job. Leo didn’t grow up a billionaire. He remembers when his father opened up the bakery and they moved to the USA and he’s worked hard his whole life. Leo thought he was in love when he was eighteen years old and instead he was played like a fool and then when he found out Nadia was using him to get to Bennett he was crushed. It’s them that has made him somebody who doesn’t want to settle down Bc he doesn’t stick around. Leo’s worked his way up in the real estate industry and he’s being awarded with Developer of the decade award. He learns right afterwards that his ex girlfriend, her father and husband will be there and he’s not happy. He’ll do whatever he has to do to make it look like he’s got it all. Jules is shocked when Leo tells her that he needs her to help him find a fake fiancé to go to the awards ceremony with him. She knows that this is her shot at getting the job she wants while giving him what he wants. Leo is shocked when Jules offers to be his fiancé and move in with him if he gives her the manager job of The Mayfair. He accepts Bc her proposal to make the hotel better is a good proposal and he knows she’s a good worker. What Leo wasn’t expecting when Jules moved in to be his fiancé was that they would have so much fun together and he was even more shocked when she told him that she was Mystique. Leo was quick to clear up the mixup that cost them two years. Leo knows that he signed up for a fake fiancé. But, the more time he spends with Jules the more he realizes that he likes her all he’ll do anything to keep her. Even after she gets scared and runs off. Leo lost her once but he refuses to let that happen again. I knew from Logan a ✯✯5 Grumpy & Sunshine Filled Stars!!!✯✯ OMG I wanted Zane’s book from the very moment that I met him in Logan and Dylan’s book. I knew from Logan and Dylan’s POV’S that these two were already not on the same page so I knew that they were going to be an enemies to lovers and I do low key love those stories. Zane hasn’t had the easiest time. During a family fun game of football ended with him falling and ending Dylan’s dancing career before it even started. Her screaming wakes him up at nights. Then, when Zane went to go play pro it took him awhile to realize that he belonged there and finally felt like part of the team was when he got hurt and was told that it was a career ending game. Now, he’s back home living in his childhood home with his sister, her fiancé, his brothers when they’re back in town and now add Rachel and her younger brother Edward and he’s not happy about Rachel’s sleeping across the hall from him. When Rachel got the job opportunity her grandmother urged her to go and that her brother would be OK without her. But, when she gets a call that there was an issue at his school Rachel goes back and she gets him and brings him back with her and he will go with her to work until she figures out what to do next. Zane is determined to be alone Bc he destroys anything good in his life so he’ll do anything to keep Rachel away. He works for the same lady as he does so he drives her. Zane’s other job has an equine therapy for children and with Rachel’s younger brother Edward being high functioning of Autism he asks him if he’d be interested and he accepts it. Zane finds himself being very protective over Edward and Rachel in a way he’s never felt before about anyone other than his siblings. When Rachel found out that her father screwed over the Bradford family years ago from Zane she wasn’t surprised she just hoped that they didn’t end up hitting her and her brother Edward. She wasn’t sure what she was going to expect. When she moved there being her father was the one that had all the fond memories, but she ended up finding a family and friends, and she found herself not wanting to leave. ESP with her brother getting along with everybody, but more importantly, was making friends around his age that he never had before. But, just as her and Zane finally give into what they’re truly feeling and now that Zane has stopped being all hot and cold and now it’s strictly hot, her father has popped up and wanting to take Edward away from her. Rachel’s been the one to raise him , his entire life Bc their mom wasn’t able to and ESP since once their father found out he was autistic. He laughed and didn’t want anything to do with him. But Rachel, for once had people in her corner willing and demanding they help her and Edward was the first time that she felt loved, cared and safe. With Zane and a few other people from the small town step up to help them. It might just all work out for Rachel and Edward. But, Zane and Rachel know that they will do anything as long as they are together. OMG when I tell you the minute I started this book I could not put it down. One of my new favorite things to come in this book that wasn’t in the last book was the group chat and by that I mean all the Bradford boys, including their newest brother Logan Was the best thing possible! I loved how well you saw in this book how close their brothers really are and how Logan was one of the Bradford’s. I loved getting the inner dialogue of Zane. You could tell him book one he was absolutely grumpy and just unhappy, but in this book you see from him why and it wasn’t just mental. It was physical pain as well. And, coming from somebody who is paralyzed , who deal with both mental and physical pain lot of times I am coming off as being a grumpy miserable person. When sometimes I’m in physical pain and other times, I am protecting other people so this was absolutely perfect for anybody who has had an injury and is dealing with trauma from that. Rachel was the perfect person for Zane and Zane. OMG was the perfect person for both Rachel and Edward! Now, I am so so beyond excited that Garrett’s book is next! I was actually thinking originally that his book was going to be number two but I’m glad it was Zane because he was my grumpy man but after reading Zane‘s book we get a little bit more into Garrett and Tia set up his book perfectly that I don’t wanna have to wait until the beginning of next year to get it. Autumn is coming off of a bad breakup and she’s been having writers block ever since. She works at her friend’s families coffee shop. While she’s at work a customer comes in by the name of Alexander and they immediately don’t get along but yet they know immediately that they know each other and they are destined to be together even though they’re acting like they don’t know each other. Zane Alexander is in Cozy Creek after his ex blew up his life so he decided to go to the one place where nobody would look for him. Cozy Creek, his mother’s house and the place where he will find comfort and according to his sister he’ll find his wife there too. They started off not friendly but when Autumn’s ex star bothering you they start fake dating. They might’ve been fake dating but their feelings towards each other were very real. This was such a cute read. I’m not a huge instant love fan but this one was super cute. In also a huge pumpkin spice, fall and all things Halloween themed lover. ...more |

I was so so so in love with the Cove brothers and their parents and the women they fell in love with and I was so upset when I got to Dr. Single Dad Bc I knew that Dax was the last one left to get his HEA and he did with Eira. Thanks to Eira we were introduced to our next character that we would follow to New York City. Bennett Fordham is a reclusive tech billionaire but only a little more than five people know that. After his mom died he created the pseudonym of Ben Fort and went to open Fort Inc were he’s the CEO and in the last ten years they’ve developed the most important technology in the world. He was able to do that without anyone knowing who he was. Lately Bennett feels like someone is following him and his apartment has been having trouble with break-ins so he’s on high alert to find out who’s behind them so he checks into the hotel he owns. Efa Cadogan AKA Eddie a recent university graduate and her dream job is getting a job at Fort Inc but for the moment she’s in the USA working a temporary summer job housekeeping at the hotel The Avenue. Efa goes to The Avenue the night before she starts her first day to get acquainted with it and decides to get a drink at the bar before she goes home and she sits down next to a gorgeous guy. After back & forth flirting they go back to her apartment where she’s staying for the summer for a fun night together. After their night together they thought that was the last time they would see each other but fate had decided differently. Efa goes to clean the hotel room and she walks in and comes face to face with Bennett. But, he’s definitely not happy to see her and she’s confused and when he wants her to leave she leaves. Efa was shocked when he shows up at her place demanding to know who she is and what she wants with him. But, Efa’s smart and she puts 2+2 together and realizes that Bennett’s actually Ben Fort the one person she wants to work for and now she really doesn’t have a chance at working there anymore but she’s OK with that as long as she can continue spending time with Bennett. Neither Bennett or Efa trust easily thanks to things that have happened before they have come into each other’s lives but for whatever reasons they find themselves believing each other more than they ever have anybody else. When Efa offers to help Bennett look for who’s after him and his company he agrees and tells his assistant to give her full access she jumps right into the deep end without having a life preserver on and she comes up with a few people who could be behind it. The problem is that she knows that Bennett isn’t going to want to listen to her so she has to get answers first and then tell him. But, Bennett realizes that she’s up to something and demands answers but when she tells him her theory he reacts like she knew he would. Bennett has to get to the bottom of it before he can figure them out but when Efa tells him that she can’t live her life without being able to tell her sister exactly who she’s in love with Bc he chooses to live his life without anyone knowing who he is. He’s gotta choose between keeping his identity a secret and loose Efa or rip the bandaid off and let everyone know who Ben Fort is and keep Efa. I legit LOVED LOVED this story!!! I had already been a fan of Efa from her sister’s story but I’m a bigger fan of hers after reading this and Bennett… Is the perfect match for her. They were made for each other. He’s gotta leave Defiance. He’s gotta leave his mom. Then, he’s gotta tell Dutch what happened in NYC and deal with whatever punishment Dutch wants including leaving Rhyan and that’s the worst part. But, Noah vows to do whatever he has too to make sure that his mom, Defiance and Rhyan most importantly are safe and out of danger no matter what it takes. I have loved every single Defiance MC book from every single chapter from Chicago, Houston, NOLA and all Royal Bastards and Baton Rouge. But, Noah’s story was heartbreaking. There was a phone call with him and his mom that I was in tears reading it unfold and just wanted to give him a hug Bc out of all the bikers K. E. Osborn has written about Noah was the one who I thought needed a hug and he desperately deserved his own HEA. I’m so glad that he had Rhyan in his corner and that she wasn’t afraid to back down to anyone to have his back. Not even her dad. I’m excited for the next book in this series Bc K. E. Osborn is SO SO good at writing stories and just as the main characters are getting/enjoying their HEA boom….. She’s got such a skill for writing stories that have me hooked from the beginning till the end and this was no exception. This story was unlike anything I’ve read. Truett and Gwen’s story was absolutely heartbreaking and just when I thought it couldn’t get even more heartbreaking I was proven wrong!! I honestly don’t want to give anything away Bc it’s too good of a story to ruin it for anyone. Truett was a soldier who was the only one to survive from his team and he was suffering from it. Gwen didn’t recognize him as the husband and man she loved. But, when tragedy struck and True really checked out Gwen couldn’t handle it and she left. Eighteen years later he only leaves his house once and he goes to the restaurant down the street and he orders the same thing that he never eats and an hour later he leaves. Gwen is divorced for the second time and she decides to buy The Grill and remodel it as a fresh start for her and her son. Gwen’s shocked when she see’s Truett standing at the door demanding to be let in. She can see that he is still struggling but was shocked by how he’s been living his life the last eighteen years. There’s something about being near Gwen that settles him. The voices, the sounds they magically disappear and it’s the calmest he’s been in a long time. Truett will do anything to make things right with Gwen and wants to start living in the present and not in the past. OMG I couldn’t put this book down. It’s absolutely heartbreaking but watching them go from enemies to see them open themselves back up was beautiful to see. Ally Martinez continues to make my heart go crazy and it doesn’t matter how often she hits publish she knocks it out of the park every time. She’s still one of my favorite authors and I’m looking forward to seeing what she writes next. ...more |

✯✯3.5-4 Beastly Filled Stars!!!✯✯ I have wanted to read a book by Willow Winters for a while now and this is my first one I thought because Beauty ✯✯3.5-4 Beastly Filled Stars!!!✯✯ I have wanted to read a book by Willow Winters for a while now and this is my first one I thought because Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorite movies to date that this would be the perfect book to start reading of hers. But, I don’t know, if it was because it was, the main character was supposed to be half man half beast that made it hard for me. Or the lack of communication between the two characters Bc anybody that knows me and has read past reviews by me knows that if a book is mostly in our dialogue and not dialogue back-and-forth between the two main characters it is very very hard for me to get into the story. This book was mostly in dialogue within themselves compared to having conversations with each other. Elle has heard all about the stories of the Beast and the curse and to not go into the forest her entire life, but that is not deterred her from staying away and is in treat her to wanting to go and see what it’s all about. What she does go inspect it Elle the interaction with the magic and she finds herself side-by-side with what she thinks is the Beast and her and her body instantly want more and she is shocked by it. The Prince/the beast can feel when somebody enters his property and when the magic doesn’t bring them to him, he’s confused so he goes looking and he sees Elle and both him, and the beast don’t have the sensation to want to hurt her. Instead they want her and the beast want to claim her as his. Which makes it the first time in the 19 years that him and the beast have been together that they have agreed on something. Elle at her father have fallen on had hard times ever since her mother passed away. So when Elle finds out that her dad gave her hand and marriage to the one person that makes her skin crawl, she is distraught. When the Beast finds out who her father promised her hand marriage to the Beast inside of him is fuming. That was his best friend enemy turned the one person that the beast wants revenge against. He refuses to let Elle marry him instead he plans on Elle his and the Beasts This was a rather quick read but I just had a tremendously hard time reading it Bc I couldn’t get into it. I don’t know how she fell for him when he hardly ever spoke more than a few words at a time and he would disappear for days. Maybe it was the chemistry and he got off so easily Bc I just don’t get it. I do hope that I have the chance to read another book by Willow Winters. ...more |

It’s not that often that I’m stumped on what to write and it’s usually Bc the book was THAT good that I don’t wanna give anything away Bc if it was me I’d be mad that my friend or a review gave away the story and ruin it by saying something that gives away the “GOOD, BAD or OMG, WTF, STFU & THAT DID NOT JUST HAPPEN” moments and that’s how I feel about The Beekeeper. I also am VERY, VERY ashamed and embarrassed of myself. I have been following S. M. Shade and sharing her books for YEARS!! I have her books on my TBR list but….. THIS IS THE FIRST BOOK OF HERS THAT I HAVE READ… And I’m SO mad at myself that I didn’t read her sooner Bc I was hooked from page one and I didn’t put it down until I was finished. The minute I got to the end and saw that she has a reader group I went and joined and looking forward to her next book. I’m not going to write too much Bc I don’t wanna give anything away. Callie’s been running for the last two years. Callie finds a small cottage for rent in a small town and it’s on a dead end. It’s just her cottage a bigger cottage across the street from her and the woods. Her neighbor is a recluse like she plans to be and the only thing between their cottages is a graveyard. She doesn’t see herself staying after her yearlong lease is up so she takes it. Callie’s not expecting anything from the small town, the people living here and she’s looking for the only person who ever loved her. But, she got so much more than she expected and more that she thought she deserved. Arlow lives his life alone. He has his cottage, the barn for his paintings and his bees. He visits an older friend once a week, talks to his family on the phone. He has his one friend Lee who lives like him so they understand each other and they will get together to hang out with his friend’s younger sister coming at times and he’s OK with that. Arlow’s life changed a few years ago and he’s living his life not wanting people to get close to him for his own reasons. Arlow has never paid attention to the cottage across the street or to whoever was renting it. But, when Callie moved in his entire life changed! Arlow had been suffering with painters block but the minute he saw Callie in the wood’s that block disappeared and she became his muse and he couldn’t stop painting. The more time Arlow and Callie spent together the more they liked each other. They enjoyed each other’s company and whether they were talking, gardening, beekeeping or simply enjoying a quiet evening together by the fire looking at the stars. When Arlow let Callie know that he can’t be anything more than her friend it crushed Callie but she wanted him in her life anyway she could get him. But, before she could try to get space to get her feelings under control there was someone from one of their past that was out for revenge. What started out as a broken window escalated quickly. Arlow wanted to protect Callie against whoever was after them. After Callie moved into Arlow’s home they got very comfortable with each other really quickly and… OMG these two are smoking sweaty hot!!! S. M. Shade definitely had my jaw on the floor a bunch of times. Arlow and Callie’s lives were changed when they met each other and they would do anything to make sure that they are safe and protected by ANY means necessary and I’m HERE for it!! I’m really kind of hoping that Lee and Silver get their own books. I don’t care if they are one book Bc I’d love them together or separately. As long as they get their own HEA I’m here for it. If not then I’ll be reading whatever S. M. Shade released Bc I REFUSE to miss another book of hers. ...more |

Cody always kept Hailey at an arm’s length away. Her father knew exactly what he was doing when they were younger so when he told him to stay away from his daughter Cody did just that. But, seeing her in the U-Haul looking even more beautiful than he remembered Cody knew that he was going to be in trouble. When Hailey tells him they could only be friends he accepts it Bc he’ll take whatever she’s willing to give him. But, when her ex comes around and he see’s the fear in her eye’s he knows that he’ll go down protecting her, Maddie and Lolly. No matter what the consequences are. OMG these two are SOOO good together and they are so equally hot together too LOL. The more I got into their storyline the more I wanted to know about all the deep, dark secrets that both equally brought them together and tore them apart and watch them grow back together. A. L. Jackson has such a beautiful way of writing her stories where you’ll get both POV and then randomly throughout the book you’ll get a chapter from their younger self giving you a glimpse of their past lives until BOOM… Whatever shoe you’re waiting to get dropped boom A. L. Jackson drops it and it’ll never fails I’m left gasping yelling WTF Bc whatever happened was 10000% not what I was expecting to happen and she does it with every single book she writes and I live for it. I’m just really sad that this series is ending with Cody and Hailey Bc in such a huge fan of them and their group of family/friends that I don’t want to say goodbye. Even though I am really excited to see who’s going to start talking to her next and see their stories come to life in my mind as I read them next. ...more |

I have been hoping and praying that Cam would get his story told Bc he needed his own HEA so I was SOOO excited to see that this book was coming and that Cam was going to be the main guy front and center. Things haven’t been so good for Olivia lately. She’s not so sure if she’s really happy teaching, her ex blindsided her and took credit for her work. But, she’s struggling with her sister’s death. She feels like she’s to blame for it. Her sister Annie has been coming to her in her dreams and she needs Olivia to rescue her soul and that’s what has brought her to the Potter Estate. There’s an old ancient lost Native American artifact that she needs to find in order to free her sister’s soul. Cam said when he left his hometown that he would make something of himself and that he would never return. So, Cam is more than shocked to find out that his supposed grandmother passed away and left him the Potter Estate. Cam returns with a mission and that’s to get that estate sold so he can go back home to New York where he just started up his business and get the next documentary worked on. But, he’s told that there’s a guest at the estate and can stay there until she’s either done or has to go back home for work. Says the will but Cam plans on setting her up in a hotel and moving forward with his plans. Cam and Olivia are immediately attached to each other. Olivia had no idea that Cam was just awarded for his last documentary until her older sister told her. Cam is immediately struck by Olivia’s beauty and then her story on finding the artifact. But, when Olivia gets hit with a water pitcher and she tells Cam that she thinks the house doesn’t like her and that there’s been things happening all over the estate ever since his grandmother died so he decides to stay with Olivia. To make sure that she doesn’t get hurt anymore and that he thinks her story is interesting and a good story so he offers to help her find the artifact and free her sister. Cam and Olivia spend day and night together. They’re either researching, watching Netflix, eating together until they can’t keep their hands off of each other. They both really enjoy & like each other’s company and they know that their time together has a deadline. They don’t want to go their separate ways at the end but they’re too scared to admit their feelings incase it’s too soon try don’t wanna scare the other person away. Every time they turn around there’s something else that is happening on the estate that they need to figure out how it happened and then get it fixed. Olivia overhears Cam on the phone and she thinks he’s after a story only she flips out rightfully so but Cam has to go back to New York for the weekend for work and begs her to wait for him to get back so they can talk. But, when his flight gets canceled due to the weather he goes home to find out that Olivia’s missing and he has no clue what could have happened. Cam asks his old foster brother, frenemie Aiden to help him find Olivia and the two guys get started on finding his girl and mending their relationship in the process. I legit couldn’t put this book down once I started it. Michelle definitely did her research on the Kaw Native American Tribe and the history’s of the Gods like, Ogallamali. I can fully fully admit that like the previous book Michelle had me guessing what was happening next and who was behind everything that was going on and like previous books she totally caught me off guard. I always find myself having hard times with books that are mostly 95% inner dialogue and very few speaking to each other Bc I don’t get that part of the chemistry between them. It’s all in their heads and those books are harder for me to get into. I also didn’t really get a paranormal sense in this book. Other than her sister showing up in her dreams but that was the extent of it for me. Other than that I absolutely loved this book. I’m beyond excited that Aiden’s story’s next Bc I wanted more from him. Michelle better be putting her fingers to her keyboard and getting all the words out onto her word document Bc I wanna know more about Aiden. ...more |

Salam is 18 and while her best friend and boyfriend are getting ready to go to college, Salem isn’t interested in going that route. She’s content working at her mother’s antique store and making her candles and selling them. While everyone thinks Salem and her boyfriend are endgame she’s not too sure. They’re still best friends but relationship wise they’re drifting apart more and more. When Thayer moved in next door he comes off as a grumpy newly divorced 31yr old. He owns his own business so he’s spending his time working, fixing up the inside and outside of his house for him and his son Forrest. Forrest is the only thing that brings a smile to Thayer’s face. Salem doesn’t really give Thayer a choice she will talk to him wether he wants to or not. He’ll give her crap for going on a run at 5am. It becomes their thing. They’re both protective of each other and they secretly enjoy it. Thayer asks Salem if she’ll watch Forrest whenever he goes to work. Over time the three of them get into routines with each other. The more time Thayer and Salem spend together the harder it is to not cross any lines. Until they both can’t do it anymore and OMG they’re hot. They’ve kept their relationship between them and Forrest until they decide they’re going to tell Salem’s mom. Before they get the chance to tragedy hits and both Thayer or Salem will be the same. Salem plans to stay by Thayer’s side and do whatever he needs from her. But, Thayer’s broken and pushes Salem away even though they both know that it’s not what either of them truly want. I loved watching these two go from neighbors to friends to being madly in love with each other. They really are made for each other. Micalea truly ripped my heart out. I’m glad I don’t have to wait long for the conclusion of Thayer and Salem’s story but I’m not sure how I’ll get through it. I have read EVERY Defiance MC book since the VERY first book. Side note: The original Defiance MC Series legit to this day has my FAVORITE FAVORITE book covers ever!!! OK back to why I wanna sucker punch myself. I’ve read every single Defiance book from every single Defiance chapter that KE Osborn EXCEPT for Notorious !!! I was extremely busy when it released and said that I would read it. I was going to read it before I read Malicious but when I realized that this was Maverick’s book I just HAD to read it!!! We were introduced to Maverick and his younger sister Clover in the NOLA Defiance MC Series . You might remember him as Jesse, Defiance’s prospect. When the series ended Ingrid moved to LA with South to take care of his sick sister and he transferred back to the LA Defiance Chapter and after Jesse earned his full patch Hurricane asked him to transfer to LA and keep an eye on his stepmom Ingrid and report back to Hurricane. So, Jesse now going by the road name Maverick and his younger sister are in LA. I knew that being book two that I was going to miss some things but I’m kicking myself Bc I feel like I’m missing significant things that are parts of the storyline. I don’t remember hearing that Clover had diabetes and now that’s a part of her issues in this book. Maverick and Clover reconnected with their older sister and I’m lost on that backstory. Then there’s Sadie, Clover’s tutor. They met in the previous book so I don’t know what & how her and Maverick’s hate part of the relationship started. Maverick loves Clover more than anything in the world and would do anything for her. When she’s falling behind in school he agrees to hire the tutor that Clover’s school recommends regardless on his feelings about her. Sadie has been on the run for awhile now and she never wanted to be near or associated with another MC again but she really cares for Clover. Sadie goes into the tutoring job with an attitude and an idea of how the Defiance MC is run and how the men, women, children and club girls are treated and she realizes rather quickly that she was very wrong. Maverick wants Sadie gone and away from him but she’s good for Clover so he’ll have to put up with her. But, these two are totally flirting with each other by arguing. Everyone else can see the chemistry between them but they can’t see past their own issues to see how good they’d be together. Maverick knows that Sadie’s keeping secrets about her past from him and the club and so does his brothers and they’ve let it go Bc Sadie was so good for Clover, Louis and everybody else in Defiance. Sadie has hoped that her past would stay where it was. In the past but unfortunately it doesn’t and now not only is she in danger but so is everyone in Defiance that she’s grown to really love and care about. Sadie realizes that she really was 100% wrong about Defiance Bc even though she didn’t tell them about her past and she’s brought danger to their front door but neither Maverick or anyone else in the club will let her get hurt. Defiance is a brotherhood a family and they fight to do what’s right. Even though there was SO many times that I was lost and confused Bc I didn’t read book one I still couldn’t put this book down and I legit devoured every single thing about this book!!! Even though it’s an enemies to lovers it could also be considered a slow burn romance Bc these two definitely didn’t jump right in and they definitely fought with themselves on what they were feeling about each other. I’m definitely going to read Notorious and I’m SOOO looking forward to Noah’s book next. ...more |
