When I realized we had an 18yo Daddy on our hands I wanted to cry because I just knew I couldn't do it. How in TF could an 18yo project that level of dominance? He can't. BUT IF SAID DADDY IS ROCCO MARINO, OH YES HE CAN. I think it's safe to say that Becky can do no wrong.
That man has one of the dirtiest mouths ever and he knows how to use it. He's intense, demanding, obsessed, and single-minded in his focus. Check Webster's for a definition of unhinged and you'll see Rocco preening, proud as a peacock. Conversely, he was equally sweet and cinnamon roll-esque, both with Hallie and Matt when the situation required it....more

An explosive marriage of convenience.
Admittedly, I had hoped for a bit more character growth, particularly for Sylvie, and the third act breakup was cliché. Yet the story was angsty and sexy, just with a slower burn and less overt kink and spice than what we've come to expect from Sara Cate. Make no mistakes, it was emotional and addictive, just a bit different. ...more

Father Thomas Manwarring is the son we didn't know was missing from the family. His return to the fold is epic and by epic, I mean intense and intriguing. His quest for revenge has him laser-focused and the young and innocent Rose Astrid is key to exacting his vengeance. (Un)fortunately for Father Manwarring, although his relationship with Rose begins as a means to an end, it evolves and she becomes his whole world.
I loved watching Thomas fall because it wasn't all at once, it wasn't even hard. It was a little at a time and was almost a surprise to him when he realized she had become more than a pawn in his game.
I could've done with a little more groveling, but all in all, I enjoyed their story and hope we see more co-writes from Zoe and Alta in the future. ...more

Let me start by saying that this short by R. A. Maddison does not read like a debut.
When I read the blurb and found that Stalk the Halls would feature an unhinged stalker who was insta-obsessed, I literally applied to ARC as quickly as I could.
It's short, but packed with kinky holiday goodness and I cannot wait to see what the author comes up with next. Hopefully it's a full length story with an MMC just as crazed as Kade!!...more

Brogan is headstrong and sassy, and gives as good as she gets. I loved that she didn't roll over for Hayes or those who tried to bring her down. I waffled a lot with Hayes and the fact that he never really spoke an apology. His actions and his internal dialogue showed us his feelings, but I really wanted to hear him atone for his behavior. All in all, I loved this couple and their journey to a HEA....more

We see some of her memories resurface and her taking her life into her own hands by seeking out answers for the many questions she has. Despite all that, much remains unknown about the gap in her memories, the who, the what, and the why.
You must read Wicked Dreams first and know that WG ends on a WTF cliffy. I am literally counting the seconds until we have Wicked Promises in our hands. This story has me on the edge of my seat because I know there's a bombshell coming and, while I've figured out some things, there are still far more questions than answers to their story. Kudos to Sara for an intricately plotted storyline!...more

Unless you have a concern for possible triggers, I highly recommend diving into this one blind. I'd also suggest having some tissues nearby. It's a very emotional ride tempered with great banter and spicy spice....more

But we do have twins who double (triple?) as stalkers and cereal unalivers. And they become o-b-s-e-s-s-e-d with Beatrix after just one look. Cereal unalivers are a trope I can take or leave, but what I flove with BBS is that there is nothing typical about this dark romance or the relationships.
I'm also really looking forward to the conclusion of their story and really manifesting some of the guys' unhingedness (I know, not a real word) to rub off on our Starr....more

So many emotions within this series. We've watched our characters endure abuse and tragedy, rejection and prejudice. Yet they come away with unmatched resilience and the type of love fairy tales are written about.
