I really liked Calista. Her and her actions were very relatable. I will say it annoyed me that she needed to make amends to certain people because she ran. Trust me she had a VERY good reason to take off.
Vex aka Ti was also pretty amazing. When he learned the truth of what happened he felt so guilty and angry. I liked that he hard time dealing with the truth and how he felt about the club. It was a refreshing change to see especially in a MC romance just how important Calista was to Ti and what he was willing to sacrifice to keep her.
So all in all I really liked this one and would recommend it.. honestly I've really liked this series..except Kings book, ...more

I am sucker for a marriage in trouble, second chance romance. When I read the blurb, I immediately signed up for an ARC.
While this is a solid read or, as my grandma would say, the bones are good, there were certain accepts that brought my enjoyment down.
I would have preferred to have the past told in the present instead of the way it was set up. I also would have liked more showing instead of telling of when they got together. I think the sister scene was anticlimactic, and honestly, Avery should have been way more mad with her. I also wish we saw her and her dad's conversation on page. This brought my enjoyment down and affected my rating.
With that being said, I loved the H Gabriel and how devoted he was to Avery. Honestly, the best part of the book was how devoted they were to each other, which made the reconciliation very believable. Plus, the epilouge was super sweet.
So, all in all, I did enjoy this one and would recommend it.

I won't lie, I've been in a huge reading slump lately. Nothing has been appealing to me and all my anticipated reads have been falling flat.
So I'm pretty ecstatic to say that not only was I super excited for this book but it met all my expectations.
I love a good marriage in trouble book. I will be honest this was a different plot compared to some of this authors other books but it was a refreshing change. You will rage and your heart will break but you will also get the happiness of HEA.
I know a huge question everyone is asking is, how's the grovel and is the herione a doormat. To answer those questions yes there is grovel and it's my favorite kind personal growth with actions. Do I think the h is a doormat? No, her reactions and decisions fit with her character and her upbringing. So to me she was not one because all her actions fit with her character.
So all in all I really liked this one and would recommend it.
