Oh, OK, this was much better than I had thought. I thought it would be a lot like DragonBall, but instead it is way more fun and intense! Though we alOh, OK, this was much better than I had thought. Though we also get our typical shounen over-powered MC/friends of MC stuff in which Gon and Killua just magically instantly learn things which normally would take a LONG time. All for the sake of the plot. XD But I liked advancing up the tower and see what happens when you reach the top (Killua has no intention going there, he just wants snack money). Of course Hisoaka is there as well (ewww). I really like the art in this one, it feels more like a sketch and that fits so well with the action. On to the next volume and see how K&G learn new techniques and kick some butt along the way. ...more

I just love the Corpse Party franchise and all the stories it brings. In this one we meet a girl named Naho-san (which I remember as one of the main oI just love the Corpse Party franchise and all the stories it brings. In this one we meet a girl named Naho-san (which I remember as one of the main ones in the other CP stuff) and see her solve mysteries + get rid of ghosts and bad spirits and curses with her skills and talents, try to be with her bestie Ayaka (and even more than that, which I loved), there are plenty of spooky and scary things happening like people disappearing + curses happening. We also get backstory on Naho-chan. Just like most CP there is enough Fan Service as well, I am still not sure how I feel about it, haha, it feels a bit forced. I am not sure how I feel about the new girl, I know what she is/what she will do/will be. Plus, I don't like that she can just wear normal clothes?? Everyone is wearing uniforms and she is just allowed not to? That felt off.
