Osborn, from the opening chapter when Ominous is in a war-torn country while in the Special Forces and the tragedy that unfolds, to 5 years later when after a year of watching and wanting Scarlett he finally gives in only to have it snatched away, Alluring Abyss is brimmed full of action, of the tragedy of heat, it will keep you on the edge of your seat until the end, but boy will it be worth the ride. I loved how strong Scarlett was, she was just the woman for Ominous and although for them to finally get their HEA will not be easy this is one lady who will not give up on the man she has come to love.

Dark Hart starts as a friend with benefits arrangement, if you have read the other brother's stories then you known about Heath's drive to find Creed, the child slave trader, and also the man that kidnapped Heath's nephew and his brother. Heath met Dr. Pasha Young at the end of the last book and now they have entered into this very hot friend with benefits arrangement. Perfect for Heath as he was hurt before and finds it hard to trust women. But lines are starting to blur, and when danger arrives on Pasha's doorstep decisions are going to have to be made. Pasha has tried to keep her feelings for Heath hidden, she knows the darkness that lurks beneath the surface and senses that something is holding Heath back from fully committing, but her heart wants what her heart wants, but there is nothing that is going to be easy about this couples HEA.

This couple is such an odd mixture but they work so perfectly without even knowing it. Erin Nicholas has created one heck of a unique couple.

Damaged Goods is a soul-stirring, gut-wrenching story, to call it just a romance does not do it justice, as there are many sides to Lev and Bailey's lives that are played out with grit and pain, so have a tissue ready, but the glimmers of love that shine through the book like the shutters on a window will blind you when those shutters are finally fully opened and the full sun rays shine on your bathing you it is warmth and healing powers.
Dealing with addiction is never easy in a romance book, especially when it is the main female lead, but L J Shen delivered the storyline perfectly in all its kaleidoscope of emotional shapes and colours.
Damaged Goods is not for the faint-hearted, it is uncomfortable at times but the ending was worth those gut-wrenching moments....more

Amidst the familiar backdrop of the club's usual drama and suspense, she introduces an unconventional beginning to Derrick/Oracle and Beth's romance.
What was supposed to be a night of enjoyment during a fundraiser in another town takes an unexpected turn for Oracle. The morning after reveals a surprise—a ring on his finger. While it might take some readers a moment to warm up to Beth, I found myself adoring her right from the start. Once again, Ms. James creates an MC character who is far from perfect; Beth feels authentic, flaws and all, as she comes to life under Marie James' pen.
The undeniable chemistry between Beth and Oracle is evident, but true to the author's style, the journey to the happily-ever-after is anything but smooth.
