1. It was going to be smart and well-written 2. I wasn't going to get anything else accomplished while reading it 3. It'd likely end up being the hottest pirate romance I’ll ever read
Those three proved to be true, but what I hadn't anticipated, was how much fun this book would end up being. Rich with imagery, flawless prose, this story sucked me into its pages like a powerful vortex. Every night, I looked forward to picking up where I'd previously left off. Pam poured her heart into these pages and it shows. I could taste the salt in the air, feel the breeze through my hair and the exhilaration of standing on the deck of a pirate ship. Every word was like poetry.
Even if you're not really into historicals, I would urge you to try this one. It's not like anything I've ever read before. If you love Pam’s writing, you’ll find all the magic and darkly erotic allure in these pages. 5 stars is not enough for how much I enjoyed this wild adventure!

This is a bittersweet release day for me as it marks the end of the Vigilantes series **sobs**. But it’s a story I’ve loved every minute of writing, and I hope those of you who’ve stuck with me since Ricochet will find it to be a satisfying conclusion.
And as a thank you to my loyal readers, it’s only 99¢ FOR TWO DAYS ONLY or FREE with Kindle Unlimited!
Remember I said that Ricochet was going to be a standalone novel?
Well it is.
At this time, I don’t have any plans to build a series around Nick & Aubree. That’s not to say I wouldn’t consider a small spin off novella, perhaps an epilogue down the road if readers want more of these two, but at this point, Nicks’s story feels complete to me, so I’m leaving it alone.
HOWEVER …
I’m not done with this particular world yet. See, as I was writing Ricochet, another storyline was snaking it’s way into my brain—another character, representing the not-so-innocent fraction of the population affected by The Culling sweeps. His story is going to be about betrayal and vengeance, and of course, love (and lust!). The book runs somewhat parallel to Nick’s.
