This book took me on a roller coaster of emotions. As well as satisfying my craving for a rock star story, it also delivered on the romance, intrigue, drama, comedy and heartbreak.
Tyler Curtis is not your average rock star. He has so much more depth than most. His story is truely heartbreaking. Jordan is just perfect as the rock Alec needs to hold onto, and despite my anoyance with her at times, Becs always managed to leave me laughing.
Frank? well lets just say what happened to him could not of happened to a more deserving slimeball.
As for Leanne, you will have to read about her yourself.
Were there times I found myself questioning things? yes occasionally but this is fiction at its best. The story was so well done that those times just didn't register long enough to even be classed as a niggle.
Would not hesitate to recomend this book to anyone that enjoys Rockers with heart oh and attitude lol.

As usual a lovely little story that I wish was longer.
I really want to read more about this family. The idea of 3 stars only because it was too short

I really want to read more about this family. The idea of a king with so many children and that he adores the younger ones and does not not consider them unworthy like most story kings do is a wonderful change....more

The adventure was entertaining. Although I did find myself questioning the time it took.
My niggle is only that there was not more. I wanted to see Lady Clarkson's trial. I wanted to see the King and Queen eat humble pie. I wanted just a few more chapters lol.
Overall a great continuation of the Tournament of Losers. ...more

This was such a heart breaking story, while being so full of hope and want and need.
I loved Luke to pieces and watching him struggle to reconnect with Emmet was heart wrenching. I felt for Emmet too, so alone thinking no one wanted him.
Landon and Bowen were almost too perfect, but luckily I loved them both too much to hold it against them lol.
I don't want to be a bitch and tear Riley to pieces, but she made me so angry, I find it hard to feel sympathy for her. (view spoiler)[ My main thought was how she selfishly made it look like Luke did not care about Emmet. Not sharing the football tickets and then stopping going to the games herself was beyond cruel to her son. And I might just be putting my own spin on things but I can't help wondering if she also put ideas into Emmets head while he was young about his father not caring. Why else would the rift between Emmet and Luke of started so early. (hide spoiler)]
I did like there was no instant sex once they started their relationship but the long and repeated heavy petting was almost as bad. I'm afraid once things move on from a kiss and cuddle I prefer fade to black lol.

A warm hearted story with just the right amount of angst and drama. My heart broke a few times for Justin as well as the three little ones. They were all portrayed realistically which made a nice change, but I have to admit Wyatt was my fav and I'm so glad I get to read his story next.
Del was so lovable and caring. I did find the way their relationship started was a bit rushed but then again why wait when you know its right lol.
Overall a great read if you want the fairytale ending with a solid real story....more
I admit to being hesitant about this one. Chass was not someone I expected to like, and this series seemed to lose stars with me the longer it went.
BuI admit to being hesitant about this one. Chass was not someone I expected to like, and this series seemed to lose stars with me the longer it went.
But I'm happy to say this was indeed a hit with me. Learning Chass' back story certainly made him redeemable in my eyes, and he did indeed end up winning my heart.
Desmond was another abused man that managed to hold on to his integrity and humanity. After all he suffered I was so happy he got what he really wanted.
The story was everything I could hope from Megan Derr, lots of hurt/comfort inbetween swashbuckling adventure. Although I did have issues with the amount of injuries being so sever yet nothing that impeded their escape over such rough terrain.
Now for my niggles: First I am not a fan of open relationships, so I really didn't enjoy Aria and Patici 's involvement. Most Aria annoyed me. I really hoped she was left behind but alas I was disappointed.
Secondly the whole silver/golden tongue confused me. I always thought Allen got that title because Allen knew 14 languages as well as him being practically perfect in everything lol. But now it seems anyone knowing a few languages qualify. Chass knowing 7 would make him a silver tongue but it seems he was also a golden tongue, a small niggle but a niggle none the less.
Thirdly I was a little confused with the whipping Allen received when young. In Allens book I got the impression it was Manda and Chass together that hurt Allen but in this story it makes it seem like Manda only participated the once resulting in the worse and final whipping. So for me that part of the story felt jumbled.
I was also happy the sex was kept untill the end and so was easy for me to skim over :) So even thought this was much more enjoyable and in keeping with the first book it doesnt quite make the full 5 stars, more a 4.85 lol. ...more

A sweet story with lovable characters. Told with a past and present combo that was easy to follow and gave just enough insight of past to convince me of the love in the present.

This book was so interesting and entertaining. There is a lot of science and while I might not understand it all it was still interesting.
Told both in present time and flashback worked well for this story. Set mostly in space with only one human the author still kept the pace up and having Grace talk to himself kept things from getting boring. I absolutely love Grace and his way with words.
The twists? were both shocking in their way and left me with a WTH moment. Ending wise I'm unsure if I'm totally happy, but then I'm not sure I would be happy with another ending. Lets just say it was a fitting ending.
Ok time for mild spoiler (view spoiler)[ Rocky!!! omg I love Rocky. He might be a little odd looking but to me he was a cutie. I love how he learn't to communicate and the way he made sure to add question when he wanted to know something, and I would fist his bump any day lol. (hide spoiler)]

It was so much fun getting to reunite with Beaufort and Mortimer, Dandy and Thompson, Alice and Miriam, and the rest of the gang again.
This time there was mystery and intrigue galore. A fast paced story with a lot of characters that kept me on my toes. Gilbert is fast becoming a favorite along with his chicken lol. The intrigue of the complete lack of Folk had me hooked. The climatic ending had me eager to read, and the final chapter had me sighing with pleasure.
These stories are full of wonderful characters and imaginative creatures, and exciting and well thought out plots. So far this series just keeps getting better.

Another enchanting little tale. I wish it was longer and we got to see a little more of King Sohan as he was left rather blank.
Side characters while amusing left me feeling frustrated that we saw more of them than the King.
But that said I still enjoy dipping into Ms Derrs worlds and look forward to being able to return in the future, be it this world or one of her others.

I loved catching up with Ellery and Jack. I love how we get to see that love does not always run smoothly, and then we get to see Ellery and Jack work through things.
The mystery again left me guessing but was completely believable.
I enjoy the whole cast of characters especially Nora and Kingston. Dare I hope to see another little romance :)
I must say I very much enjoy this authors stories. They are both fun and mysterious. Plenty of twists and turns plus magic and Folk of different species.
This story was interesting and while I jumped into book 5 I don't think I missed anything plot wise. Although I will be going back and starting from book 1.
I liked the slightly different approach to the wolf weres, especially the changing, although icky. I love Gobs and his thought process and dialogue. I really liked Callum and look forward to reading more about him.
Having heard of the Watch in the Beaufort books I was surprised to find they are even more mysterious and possibly darker than I first thought. Really looking forward to finding out just what is going on there.
My only real niggle is this is clearly not over story wise. Normally I hate to be kept waiting, but hopefully by the time I finish catching up on previous books the next book will be ready....more

This one was as entertaining as the rest. Lots of mysterious goings on and some new Folk to meet. I really hope we get more of the Bollies. The Dandy is I hope going to be permanent fixture with maybe a little more explanation as I'm still a little in the dark about him.
The dragons of course were front and center and Mortimer still has a firm hold on my heart. Beaufort is as delightfully inquisitive as always, but gave me a bit of a scare.
The WI continues to get themselves involved in things and I love watching them.
