Things begin to go downhill when her best friend and mentor, at the paper, is found murdered.
It seems her boss is out to fire her, her ex-husband wants her out of town, someone is hurting her grandmother (in the nursing home) and, her one solace is reading. She hopes the ladies in, the murder myster club will help her find who murdered Robert. The police believe it's her! SMH
I don't want to include any spoilers in my review, so you will have to read this wonderful book! BTW It's the first book in a series. I cannot wait to read the rest of the books in this series. Ms. Slan had me from the first page.
My final thoughts, pick up this book, sit back, have a cup of coffee and get ready for the adventure! I was laughing and crying in parts of this story, it is a very relatable story!...more
