I decided that “warrior goddess” is just another way of saying “child of God”. Everything here, or at least almost everything here, resonates with my progressive Christian yogi heart.
Maybe this is just a case of the right book at the right time, but I read (or rather listened to the audio version) with the same feeling I had when I read Traveling Mercies in college.
All the stars. I bought the paperback before I finished the audiobook. I will reread and savor and journal.
