I enjoyed the first half when there was an element of complication involved since Andie is at the academy being trained for someone else. I liked Andie and Fulton fighting their feelings and enjoyed that bit of conflict. I never fully got their connection even though a I liked them both as characters. They had some fun interactions. The second half was just okay and rather drawn out to me. I felt like this was a low heat kind of book. Which is totally okay, but since they were at a BDSM academy, I was just expecting a higher heat factor. It was still nice but had more of a slow burn feel to me.
Good writing and story, decent conflict and drama. It wrapped up nice and easy. I enjoyed it but could easily put it down and walk away. There was definitely a sweet, low heat, love story happening. Nice introduction to a new series. A good read if you're looking for something on the lighter side that’s not to taxing. So, good. :-)

I was immediately all in right from the beginning. I liked both Simon and Lynn and the situation Lynne created for herself. It was kind of crazy but super entertaining and I was pretty much waiting for that situation to implode. I really liked Simon, he was sweet, sexy, and oh so hot! I enjoyed Simon getting to know Lynne again and the connection they had. I enjoyed learning their histories as well and watching them them reconnect.
The writing was great with really good details. I was excited while reading. I liked the undertones of heat happening while everything was building. It was a fast past, hot story with a nice amount of drama mixed in. Steady throughout, enough character development to have me invested. I enjoyed the storyline even though Lynne created a stressful situation for herself. I like the dilemma that created for Simon however, it added a nice bit of tension. I loved the mention of some of the other couples from previous books, which makes me want to go back and read their stories. When everything blows up in Lynn's face, it was a bit anticlimactic for me but I still enjoyed it.
All in all I thought this was a great read. I loved the heat. The drama. The bits of crazy and intenseness. It was a solid second chance romance to lose myself in and can't wait for the next one!

Grace and Sam. These two trying to figure each other out in the beginning is adorable. They are so incredibly sweet together and I loved their chemistry. I was expecting this player of a man but who I got was so incredibly kind and generous and incredibly closed off. Sam came from such humble beginnings with real loss that had me feeling for him from the start. I loved his character development and growth throughout the story. Watching his struggle was so endearing as his feelings for Grace developed. I liked Grace a lot, she seemed to be very perceptive to Sam’s needs and was almost forgiving to a fault. I feel like I knew Sam better than Grace, he felt more in depth to me than she did. There was a decent amount of back story and character development for her but it was more surface to me.
I loved them coming together. It's sweet and fun with an nice amount of emotion and drama mixed in. I loved Sam’s pursuit of Grace since he seemed so out of his element. I thought they had great chemistry and there was a nice amount of sexy times happening between the two. Towards the end my heart might have dropped a bit and I wanted to strangle Sam but I loved the drama that was created. I was on the edge of my seat, turning the page, dying for my HEA.
The writing was really good, I enjoyed the story so much. There was a really good pace and I liked the flow of the story. I thought the build was great. I loved that it was dual POV and couldn't wait for Sam to share with Grace what the reader already knows. There were a lot of characters mentioned and I loved Sam’s friend Angie and Grace’s friend Harper. I liked the drama at the end and Sam finally getting it together. It wrapped up a bit too smoothly for me since Grace is so incredibly forgiving but I love how it flowed into the epilogue.
I laughed, cried, and rooted for Sam and Grace. I loved his story of healing and opening is heart and letting love in. I might have clapped at the end. It was a totally enjoyable, fun, absorbing read.

Cooper and Daisy's story was so wonderful and I think it just might be my favorite in the series. That's saying a lot too because I LOVE this series.
Cooper and Daisy were fantastic characters. I thoroughly enjoyed watching them reconnect and learning about their histories. Cooper is so sweet, kind, and caring and so not what people perceive him to be. Daisy was strong and feisty, I loved her spunk. Together they had such amazing interactions. I loved their playfulness and that building heat between the two. They're chemistry sizzled! There are ups and downs, tension an heat, and it was great watching them work through their struggles as they figured everything out.
Everything about this story was pretty perfect for me. The storyline and writing were fantastic. There were so many great details and moments that just filled me up. I was stressed out, I was grinning, I was worried, I was rooting for them, I was teary eyed, my emotions pretty much ran the gamut while reading this. There was excellent character development as well and I enjoyed the build as everything played out. I adore the fact that it was dual POV and I really got to know both of them and feel what they were feeling.
Cooper has always seemed like such a mystery so I love how the author set this story up slightly different from the others in a different location, it seemed to fit perfectly. I love the Blue Fire band and Cooper’s band mates, they’re a great cast of characters. I loved the updates on the guys and where everyone is now with their lives. It makes me want to go back and reread their stories.
If you have not read Erika Kelly before, I highly recommend her. This series is phenomenal! This is the last one and I'm going to miss all the characters but it went out with a bang. 5 I’m-feeling-so-much-stars!

Watching Maverick and Leighton reconnect was fantastic, they were like fire and ice in the beginning and I was hooked. I loved their fiery personalities and that burning animosity between the two. They definitely had chemistry and heat and it turns combustible. They have a great history together though some of it is pained, and I loved learning their details and everything about their past. I loved all their interactions and dialogues. This was such a full story and I was turning the page like a mad woman.
A part of me wanted to not like Maverick because he was so harsh in the beginning but I totally go why and I just knew, underneath all that pain there was going to be amazing redemption. And there was! His struggles, him opening up, being vulnerable, it had me rooting for him and completely melting my heart. Maverick letting his guard down and opening up had me swooning. I loved how Leighton was there for Maverick, and had so much forgiveness for him. She was was pretty great too. She’s so focused on being independent and being fine but was struggling just as much as Maverick. Her letting her guard down was awesome. I loved them coming together. It had such a great message of forgiveness, it just made my heart happy.
I love how the story was told from dual POVs so I got a really good sense of who these characters were. I thought there was great character development as well. I loved the cowboy speak, I thought it was sweet, sexy, and fun. I loved the build and details and I thought the pace was excellent. This was packed full of emotion but mixed in there were some light moments that had me chuckling thanks to the women Leighton surrounds herself with. I'm exited for Quinn's story next and am looking forward to more Clay too.
I love finding new-to-me authors and I am thrilled with what I got from Harper Sloan and am excited for more. This is an excellent second chance romance full of heart and one heck of a sexy cowboy!

Maddy is quite the character. She is bold as brass and not apologetic about who she is. I love that she's this boisterous character that's full of life. I mean, she owns a tiger for goodness sake! But she was so much more than the person that she seemed to show to the world. I enjoyed learning her background and watching her open up to Darren. I loved seeing the real her with her insecurities and flaws and how she just owned who she was. Darren, the hunk-a-licious Texan. Oh my! I liked him a lot. He's got some drama going on which brings the two of them together. He’s so in over his head with Maddy but is up for the challenge. I loved watching their relationship grow as he got to know her. Darren and Maddy had great chemistry with a light, fun vibe and I adored the bad jokes and silliness.
There is a whole heck of a lot of heat happening in this. Maddy is a sexual creature and I love how she owns that too. What she liked and is willing to do and try. Darren is right along for the ride. Fantastic passion and hot scenes were happening between these two for sure.
Great story, nice descriptions and build. It ended a bit abruptly for me but there was decent closure. I went in thinking it was going to be all naughty fun but I got so much more from it because these characters, even though over the top, are real in their own way and have vulnerabilities and I really just enjoyed them coming together. Also, I loved the humor, it was just really entertaining. It was full of bad dad jokes that were just hilariously endearing to me.
This was a winner for me. Crazy yes but pure fun, sweet and super freaking hot!

Sol and Rain were such a great characters. Sol, my oh my, this man is one dirty gentleman. I was crushing on him big time. I loved his history and the visual I got of him. He was so full of life! Rain was so sweet and a bit naïve but somehow bold and open. I loved their chemistry together, it was electric! They did have a very instant connection but somehow it worked perfectly for me.
The hot factor is off the charts! Like, I had to out my Kindle down and take a break because I'm pretty sure the darn thing was going to catch fire. Loved the light BDSM elements and how Sol introduced Rain to so many things and how accepting and willing she was. Besides the heat, it had such a fun vibe happening. It was light and steamy. Seriously with the humorous one liners. I laughed and chuckled my way through this story. It was seriously funny! It was entertaining and witty and it was full of so much charm.
I loved the friendship that Sol had with Cylan and the relationship he had with his brothers. It was good natured ribbing and fun, I love that male bickering and banter. I also liked the relationships Rain had with her brothers. They were so protective of her. I thought Sol’s ex wife Maddy was fantastic and I loved her style. She's just so fresh and bold and confident. She’s up next in book two, The Queen of Dauphine Street (yay!). There were just so many great details and elements introduced. I loved it all.
I loved the writing and the form of story telling. The author painted a beautiful and vibrant picture of New Orleans. This story was just so full of life, heat, trust and openness. This was pure, hot entertainment. There is some drama mixed in but for the most part it was an light read. There was an excellent story with interesting characters combined with a seriously smut-fest of a read. And I mean that in a good way!
This is a series not to be missed! I am completely fascinated by the mystery that is Thea De Salle and can't wait for more!

I enjoyed the mystery suspense element happening but I was a bit confused in the beginning as things were being introduced. There is a nice bit of drama that had them on their toes and kept things moving along. The writing was good and fast paced, I was definitely interested and kept turning the page because I wanted to know what was going to happen next. There was just a lot going on to keep straight.
This story contained multiple POVs which I did like, I always enjoy the perspective of the bad guy. I looked forward to who I would hear from next though sometimes it took me a minute to realize who I was hearing from. I liked Leese’s friends a lot, Justice and Sarah were both very dynamic. Justice is someone who's story I am definitely interested in. Lots of guys from the Ultimate Series made an appearance, which was cool to see because I always like character crossovers but it felt kind of forced to have them all there.
I did enjoy the story and there were parts where I kept turning the page because the entertainment level was super high. Other parts were just good but drawn out and I could easily put it down and walk away. I liked Leese and Cat but didn't feel totally connected to them and never really felt their chemistry. So, it was good for me, just an enjoyable and likeable read.

The characters were fantastic. I adored Lexi. She had such a great personality and I liked her spunk and how she could hold her own in the banter department. Roman, I am so in love with this guy! He’s this fun trouble maker and it’s so adorable, but he’s so much more than the bad boy people see. Watching him fall for Lexi was amazing. There were just so many sweet, swoon worthy moments and underlying feelings of emotion happening, it was just the best. There was such an ease to the two of them getting to know each other that seemed so genuine, I couldn’t help but love it.
This story totally packed a punch because I felt like it was two stories in one. I loved the secondary story that was intertwined, honestly it made me ridiculously happy because everyone deserves a happily ever after. It's a unique situation that was introduced as Lexi joins the Cold Fury world but I love how it played out. There's conflict between some characters and tensions run high creating drama, I couldn't wait for that story to be resolved.
I was happy while reading because the characters just had a wonderful, positive vibe happening. The writing was great. Excellent build and details. I hung on every word and couldn't turn the page fast enough. I thought it was an amazing read. I'm going to get all gushy because Max was just this incredibly sweet, sincere man, that was so open and caring and loving and totally accepting. He was just a genuinely good guy and he totally made me swoon. I loved Jules as well. She was so strong and determined and had such grit. I loved her devotion to her family and how hard she worked to care for them. Max and Jules had such an unconventional first meeting but I loved what Max saw in her and how he pursued her.
This was such a great story and it flowed so well for me. There was a great development and build as we get to know the characters and they start to come together. I loved the writing and I think the author has a really engaging way of storytelling that always pulls me in. It was sweet and fun with just the right amount of heat mixed in but there were also these fantastic emotional moments that had my heart in my throat. For the most part it's pretty light drama but there's enough tension and outside stressors mixed in to keep things moving along nicely. There are some heartbreaking moments as well but for the most part this was a sweet, entertaining read with sincere and loving characters and I loved them coming together and falling in love.
I love all the different relationships happening with the Cold Fury members and spouses and how they are woven into the story in a smart way, not over done at all. I was also super excited to meet Max's brother Lucas. There are just so many elements, small attention to detail that make it a really full, in depth story.
This was just another excellent story that completely filled me up. All the books in this series are like a drug I don't want to quit. I can't get enough. Absolutely fantastic read!...more

They had great chemistry and I couldn't wait for them to have their HEA.
The story was fast paced but I didn't feel like I was missing anything. More like it moved at an exciting clip and I was caught up in Quinto and Cassia’s story. I was really happy to see some crossover characters. That always makes me happy and it was a fun addition. I also enjoyed the other Dom’s in the club and getting to see a bit more of their personalities which makes me excited for more in the series.

I am a huge fan of the Starcrossed series, all the reads for me were excellent so getting to catch up with the characters and see old friends was pretty fantastic. They might have been short stories but they were full with great characters, a solid beginning, middle and end, bits of sexiness and drama and a whole lot of love. I am so glad the author wrote this, I am beyond happy!

This was so fantastic! How one story can be filled with humor, sexiness, angst and emotion I don't know but this had it all and I loved it. Cassie and Ethan are still favorites of mine and this story totally reminded me why. I love them so. The writing was great. Loved the descriptions and how it was all laid out. I loved seeing where they were and getting a snippet of their life. I was pulled right into the their word. I laughed, got stressed out, and got tears in my eyes. Nice bit of angst mixed in. Perfect from beginning to end.

I loved this so much. Really getting to know Josh and see who he is. I always thought he was a great character but really seeing him, I love him even more. It was such a fantastic read. There's a nice bit of angst and anticipation happening that had me excited for more. There were some super funny parts too. I loved getting to see past characters in the series and catching up with their details. I loved, loved, LOVED all the happily ever after's going on. They were just so wonderful. I loved all the details and feel of the story. It left me smiling and feeling happy. The ending was the best. Great build to get there too. I love Angel and Josh's chemistry and connection. Perfect mix of fun, angst, drama, and sexiness. Such a fantastic story.

I loved the prologue introducing everything and explaining just who Kyle. I had a oh my god THAT Kyle moment and was even more excited to read this. He was such a hard guy with a very difficult and brutal past and I loved watching him really grow and find redemption. That in itself made it an awesome story but it was so much more. Jane was the absolute bomb! I freaking loved this woman! So sweet, caring, persistent, and down right adorable. I loved her tenacity and how she never gave up. She and Kyle had so many great moments and I loved her pursuit of their friendship. There were so many fun scenes that had me liking them more and more.
I loved seeing Kyle's walls come down little by little as the story develops. I thought there was a great pace and loved all the details. The writing was so good. I loved everything about it from the interesting characters and their interactions, their amazing chemistry and connection, to all the awesome details. Kyle liking Jane but trying to fight it because of the circumstances he was dealing with. There was so much anticipation that came along with their building heat, I couldn’t wait for them to connect.
Honestly though, for as much as I loved Kyle and the growth he experienced, this is one of those times where I think the heroine might have out shined the hero. From Jane's quirky personality, her movie quotes, her sweet, caring and persistent nature, I just loved everything about her. She was the best and just so endearing. She had her own moments of growth as well, and I loved every single second.
If you want to read something entertaining (seriously, this was such a fun read!), sweet and sexy, with a nice amount of heat and some mild drama, this is it. Finding Kyle was jut a fantastic read that's all about love and redemption.

I loved it all. The first two books were awesome but I have to say, this is my FAVORITE book in the series so far!!!
Mike and Lauren had so many ups and downs in their relationship and I loved the build in learning the why… and that why was killer! I loved Mike, he was just so sweet and caring as he and Lauren reconnect, there was no way not to love him. Lauren was so strong and I loved how determined she was to do things on her own, even though some of those things legitimately stressed me out. She could be really stubborn and hold herself back to protect herself and I totally got why. I loved them reconnecting and Lauren letting her guard down and really open up.
I also really enjoyed Lauren connecting with Ari and Georgia because she's been pretty ice-like in the past two books. I thought they had a lot of fun scenes together that were highly entertaining. I adored the fact that there was more Nate and Becca included as well, that's just such a fun, side story and I would love to see these two get their own book.
Honestly, everything about this is made me ridiculously happy. It had a somewhat light feel with a great deal of emotion mixed in. I got teary eyed several times. I loved the writing, it really drew me in. I thought there was excellent character development also. I was just sold from the very beginning. I love how the story was laid out and the build to the amazing HEA.

It wasn't super in depth, just enough details and character development to keep things moving along nicely. There were lots of funny situations mixed in and I really liked those parts.
Here's the deal, it was all just good for me. I liked it, it was cute, it was fun, there was a nice amount of heat but I never felt completely drawn in. I liked the secondary characters for the most part but there was one I just didn’t get at all. I did like the ending, it was sweet and heartfelt but it felt rather rushed.
I enjoyed it for the most part and was curious how it would turn out so I kept right on reading, I did like it, there were just some things that didn't work for me but overall I did enjoy the storyline. So, a good, fun read it is.

Jackson and Sylvia are true to form with their amazing connection and passion and I loved seeing where they were now in their lives. The love and strength they have for one another as they wind there way through another obstacle is fantastic. I really liked the element of mystery that was presented. I love Jackson's commanding presence and how he and Sylvia rely on one another and how the passion they share is so electric and turns into extremely heated and erotic scenes.
I was immediately pulled into the intense style of writing, not dark per say but captivating and rich, gripping. J. Kenner is a fantastic story teller making me feel for the characters and root for them. It was a solid story from beginning to end, with full, rich details and a great build. It was short but held a lot of impact.
I will add as a general note that the other books definitely have to be read first or it's one great big spoiler to what’s already happened in the other books. If you haven't read the The Stark International Trilogy yet, I highly recommend it. Absolutely mesmerizing!

Elle and Lane are like fire and ice. There is so much crazy animosity and tension and underlying sparks between the two and I loved their fight and the hot chemistry that was created. And oh man was it hot! I loved their kink, it was very steamy but not over the top. These two have a tumultuous relationship and I loved the grit and vulnerability between them. I loved learning Elle and Lane’s histories and what made them tick. There is drama and tension, and so much emotion and I was caught up in it all.
Lane fascinated me. I loved his sweetness and how caring he was for others and how far he'd come in life. He had is battles that he was dealing with but I loved that willingness to try and better himself. Right from the get go I liked Elle even if she was cold as ice and full of attitude, because I just knew watching her walls come down would be epic. And it absolutely was! I loved their bickering and how they pushed each other's boundaries. There are so many ups and downs and emotion filled moments and it made for this rich story.
The writing was incredible. It was such a well crafted story, it had a fantastic build and great details and flow. I loved the layers that Elle and Lane had and really getting to see them develop and grow as characters. I just love a story that fills me up and consumes me and this very much did. It was just a full, solid story throughout with a fantastic ending.

I pretty much inhaled this!
I loved Jane and Brock so much. From their first meeting I was hooked. I loved their back and forth banter while Brock figures out what he truly wants. Jane's feisty and spunky attitude was infectious. There were just so many awesome moments between the two, I enjoyed it all. They had such fantastic chemistry and heat but there was good bit of emotion and vulnerability mixed in with there budding romance. I honestly couldn't stop laughing and smiling from all their interactions. There were ups and downs and a bit of conflict but the majority of the story was light.
I loved getting to know Broke and Jane, watching them fall in love and stand up for themselves. But beyond those two, I thought this story had some of the best secondary characters ever. I loved the twins! They were so naughty and flirty but there is way more to them than meets the I and I cannot wait to read their stories. The grandfather though, this man was priceless and I liked how he meddled..
I loved all the details. The writing was so fantastic, I enjoyed the build and seriously couldn't get through this fast enough. Fantastic pace. I loved the short chapters and the alternating POV’s, it kept things moving along perfectly and made it exciting to read. It felt fresh even though it has the Cinderella retelling of sorts, I thought it was a solid story all on its own.
Pure entertainment that was sweet, sexy and charming. I adored every single second of this! It was the prefect feel good story with the best happily ever after. I highly recommend it!

It was witty and fun and frustrating and endearing all wrapped together. I loved all these little moments they shared and watching things develop and grow. I swear it had the most epic slow burn I have ever read to date. I was just filled with so much anticipation, completely mesmerized by their complicated relationship.
I loved the different conflicts that Lucy and Josh were facing and that pull they had for one another. I loved seeing their protectiveness for each other grow and watching this hate-filled game they play turn into something more. There were just so many awesome moments and scenes throughout. I was smiling and crying and cheering. They were both such well-thought-out and well-developed characters. I loved the build of their details and the pace I found them out. Honestly, my emotions felt like they were about ready to spill over the majority of the time because of these two.
The writing was stellar. It was brilliantly planned out. Sally Thorne is an excellent writer and it’s hard to believe this was her debut novel. The story had this great pace, well thought out, making you want more right away but you had to wait through the delicious slow burn to get all the details. I can't even explain it. I just know this one is definitely going to stick with me.
I want to say more and share all the things but that would spoil the fun. You have to read it, dive in, and feel it and experience The Hating Game for yourself. And just to say, in the very last chapter, it was like stars aligning when everything came together. Total perfection! My heart pretty much exploded all over the place!!!

Updated on 7/17/2017: After finishing the audiobook for The Hating Game, I just wanted to add that this story is still phenomenal. I was so caught up in all the emotions of Josh and Lucy’s story and the beautiful way it all unfolded. Even though I had previously read it, I was still on the edge of my seat full of anticipation about what would happen next. I loved seeing all these little moments from Josh that made my heart melt. This is seriously one of my FAVORITE books! So much so I had to order myself the paperback as well. I highly recommend this book!...more
