One day a baby girl was left on his door-step. He didn't have the heart to take her to the authorities. A.J. raised her as his own child.
A few years later he remarries and they move to a larger home. He finds out he has brain cancer .
The one thing he has been missing all this time is a book of poems by Edgar Alan Poe. When it is found and sold he can pay for his operation.
This is a quirky book with too many clichés.
