Ash has spent the last five years at a Catholic boarding school. Before that, her life was a little crazy. Her mom - who had her when she was only 16 - was a world-famous supermodel. But drugs and alcohol destroyed her career. Then she was 'saved' by a rich guy when Ash was 13. He married her mom and sent Ash to boarding school. Now her mom is dead. And her stepfather - who thinks she's her mother's little sister - wants to marry her and do unspeakable things to her. WTF?
With the help of her favorite priest and her godfather Gus, Ash tries to stay hidden from her crazy stepfather! They put her in a rental property owned by Gus's boyfriend Jock in Vermont as a roommate to a guy who isn't very welcoming ... but very sexy!

Well ... that was ... interesting. And different. I loved it!
You immediately fall in love with Ash and you feel sorry for her and her life. And of course we immediately hate her stepdad!! And we love uncle Gus and Jock and ... Julian. Phew. Julian! 🔥
He's living in that house with his art and his cute dog. He's all alone except for his adorable sister who visits from College now and then. He's extremely attracted to Ashley, but he's been betrayed very badly only recently - which lost him his career ... But he has to help Ashley - he can't just let her get hurt on his watch! So very adorable!
I really enjoyed reading this book. I'm not really totally in love with the cover - it didn't fit the story ... it looks like some kind of icy sports romance thing. Even though those are just normal Cinderella shoes and not ice skatey shoe thingies, but still! ☺ I think some people might walk right on by in the bookstore. BUT we don't judge a book by its cover. And the story inside the book was really great. Exciting. Adorable. Sad. Heartbreaking. A bit funny. Sweet. Sparky. Dangerous. A tiny little bit too much religion was in it for me, but it wasn't preachy or anything too bad. I could live with it.☺
It was a great first-love-finding-yourself-romantic-suspense story with some very dark elements in the form of Ashley's stepfather! I even cried some little tears - especially while reading mom's diary entries. Heartbreaking!
FRAGMENTS OF ASH was such a beautifully sweet & innocent and exciting & dangerous love story! I adored Ashley and Julian! Run to your nearest amazon for your own copy - it will be sold out in no time!

Like with the first two books - we all know this story already. Ava told it to us years ago. But now it's Jesse's turn to tell his side of everything - and it's a LOT that we never knew! This last book is just as crazy and Jesse-ish as the first two. Ava just agreed to marry him - in two weeks. And Jesse still hasn't talked to her about his past! Plus there will be some dangers coming if we remember correctly... It will be a long while until our two darlings will be able to ride off into that happily ever after sunset!

Emily has finally gotten away from her super annoying mom. Ten years ago she had to quit college to take care of her mom after her dad left, but now she's finally left for Ireland. Living and working her dream in a super cute book store and as an assistant to her very favorite author. Who has been suffering from writer's block for ten years! But there's also the author's son and book store owner Kieran. It seems that he hates that Emily's here. But why? And can that hate turn into something else?

That was adorable! And obviously a bit sad and heartbreaking too. But mostly it was sweet and so full of books and Ireland and small town charm and just beautiful! I loved reading this. I wanted to move into this little Irish town and eat all the goodies in the book store café and drink all the tea and whisky and read all the books. Em and Kieran are so adorable and perfect for each other. He's a bit grumpy most of the time - so cute! And Em with her hypochondriacal moments. Too funny. I just loved this book! And I would so love to see this on TV one day!
LOVE AT FIRST BOOK was such a beautiful love story! Adorable, funny, sparky, sweet, Irish, bookish, small towny and a bit sad and heartbreaking .... I loved reading this! Run to your nearest book dealer for your own Kier - this one is MINE!

Lucy + Felix
Five years ago Lucy spent an amazing day and night with Felix. On Prince Edward Island. Her bestie Bridget invited her home for a couple of fun summer weeks. Bridget had some rules for the trip. Eat lots of Oysters. Leave Toronto behind. And don't fall in love with her brother! Whoops. Lucy did not know it was her best friend's brother. And it was Bridget's fault anyway for missing her flight and arriving a day late! Every summer since secret things have happened between Lucy and Felix. But now, just two weeks before Bridget's wedding they're all together again on the Island. But what is Bridget hiding? Why did she call Lucy to the Island in the middle of their super busy wedding preparations? What is happening? And what is Lucy supposed to do about Felix? He lives on the island and she lives in the city. And they're not supposed to fall for each other anyway...
Will there be a happy end for any or all of our darlings??

Adorable!
I loved this! Every Anne of Green Gables fan has to love a romance that's set on Prince Edward Island. The whole mood of the book is so ... emotional and quiet and sweet and islandy and ... just beautiful. We immediately love Lucy, Felix and Bridget. (And the friends and parents and the aunt...) But we're wondering if there could ever be a happy end for Lucy and Felix. Bridget seems to not want them together - but why? And is that really unnegotiable?? And why are we here now so close to the wedding? Did something happen with Miles and Bridget? We'll find out eventually!
I just loved reading this. It was so comforting somehow. Like a hot bowl of chowder or a hot mug of Earl Grey tea with lemon and honey. It was a super heartwarming love story with an amazing cast and the most beautiful locations! And now I want allll the seafood please!
And I obviously want to see this on TV one day! Filmed on PEI and not in a studio or elsewhere!
THIS SUMMER WILL BE DIFFERENT was such a sweet and adorable and slightly mysterious love story. Full of family and friends and love and fun and island and summer and food and flowers .... just beautiful! Run to your nearest book dealer for your own Felix - he'll be sold out in no time!

Noël was supposed to be on his way to his dream honeymoon in Cancun with his beautiful bride. But she left him standing at the altar in front of 600 guests. And now he's about to spend his honeymoon crying and drinking. But Wyatt is about to put a stop to that. No more grief-drinking and wallowing. Wyatt will fill in as the 'bride' for a few days - because all the expensive extras are already paid for! Why waste all that, right?

That was so adorable! Such a sweet and sunny and fun beach romance. But of course we have some very sad and heartbreaking parts too. And we're not staying in Cancun for the whole book obviously. We have to get back to real life one day soon. And who knows what will happen with our two darlings... Wyatt won't be able to leave his family and his wine and animals and move to New York and Noël can't do celebrity PR in a tiny Texan town? Will they have a chance for that happy end? We sure hope so!

Gio's dream has always been to one day have a big family and own a little place where he can make his own wine. Emma was born into a huge wine empire. But her dad only sees her as an unqualified female. So now she wants to have her own winery in Southern California. Far away from her dad in Napa. Gio and Emma meet on a wine tasting group tour in Tuscany. It's all sparks and wine and fun and amazing moments... But can they have a future together? They kinda basically almost have the same dreams....

Another perfect love story in this adorable series. I love the whole family vibe and the weeks in Italy were just amazing. I so wanted to join them in drinking all that wine and eating all that amazing food! You'd think it would be so easy for Emma and Gio just to get together and live their dream winery lives... But it's not. Emma is not dreaming of the big family with lots of kids. She just wants the wine and to prove to her idiot dad that she can do this. And poor Gio. He wants exactly what he had growing up. The perfect family - and his own wine. Plus we have a bit of a health scare too. But we have the whole book to get to that happy end. I really loved reading this. I don't know what it is with me and wine country books. I just adore them. I'm not a big wine-drinking person at all - but those books are just totally my thing.
I so need to see this series on TV one day! The people, the locations, the FOOD and wine.......more

This is not a romance. (There are tiny romantic elements in it though!) Sam and Nisha are two middle aged women in their fourties. They don't know each other, but their lives will be getting mixed up a bit in this book. Sam is the mom of a 19 year old girl and the wife to a depressed and jobless husband who spends his days on the couch. She works very hard to bring enough money home. Nisha is the opposite. She has a teenaged son and a super rich business husband. She lives for fashion and what other people think and what her husband needs. Nisha and her husband are in London for business at the moment. But one tiny little bag mix up in the local gym changes everything for Nisha - and Sam.

Elsie is a doctor. Not a medical one. If she were, she might already have a great job. Nope, she works in physics and the pay sucks if you're not a real researching prof at a super cool university. Which is why she's jobbing a second job next to teaching at three colleges while waiting for her dream job. Her second job you ask? Hiring herself out as a fake girlfriend. Nothing illegal. Just play the girlfriend in front of his friends and family. One of those family persons is Jack. He's the super hot and grumpy brother of Greg - the guy she's been fake dating for a few months now - while pretending to be a librarian. And suddenly hot brother Jack is standing in front of her at her first job interview for MIT as not Jack but Jonathan! The most hated physicist in her field - which is not his field - his people adore him. And he's kinda the guy responsible if she gets hired or not.

Another perfect Ali Hazelwood STEM rom-com! I so need to see these books on Netflix!
Jack and Elsie are so adorable together. Both physicists but on opposite ends of the physic whatever. LOL. And the rest is also not a perfect fit - nothing really says: they belong together. But they so do! I just loved the way he tries to draw the real Elsie out of her people-pleasing old self. He's so sweet and calm and patient. And she's so not that. I loved the roommate's pet! LOL! I loved the brother and the grandma. I did not love the mentor and Elsie's family!
This was a really sweet and funny and slighty heartbreaking love story with some very serious and real health and science-world problems thrown in. I loved every word of it! I didn't understand all of them - but pfft - who cares.
Perfect STEM romance - can't wait to get more from Ali! GIMME!

Lavender and Kodiak. We all know their parents from the Pucked and All In series. Kodiak's dad is still playing hockey and Lavender's dad is the coach. So all the team's kids are basically growing up together as besties and cousins. At least that's how it is in the prologue. When Lavender is six years old - and Kodiak is nine. Lavender has always been extremely shy. Her twin brother River talks for her most of the time. One night something happens that makes Lavender close up even more. And then we fast forward 13 years. Lav is 19. Kodiak is 21. College in Chicago. All the 2nd generation hockey kids go there. Lavender lives in a house with her two brothers. Kodiak lives three doors down with friends and cousins. Something happened between our two darlings two years ago. They hate each other now! But they also kinda have been in love with each other since they were born. But as we find out in a few back-in-time chapters - their intense connection - even as little kids - is probably not helping either of them.
What will happen with Lavender & Kodiak? READ THE BOOK TO FIND OUT! ...and bring some tissues ;)

Beautiful!
You might think you get his cute little college romance. And we do get that. We have funny and adorable and clumsy college moments. But it's so much more. We already see some of that in the prologue. And we know that something happened between our darlings. But we don't really know what is going on. We also know that both Lavender and Kodiak have a series of 'issues'. So one might think they'd be perfect for each other. They can heal and help each other. But it's not as easy as that. Their parents don't want them to lean on each other too much. The reader just wants whatever happened between them to go the eff away, so that we can finally get our happily ever after. But we still have a long way to go. And we love every single word of that journey!
I just adored this book. Lavender and Kodiak are so amazing. They're the perfect kids for their parents, but everybody is always worried about them. Ugh. It's all so sad and heartbreaking. But beautiful too. I just loved reading this. Perfect angsty new adult college love story!
And I just know - or hope - that we'll get more of those second generation kids. There are sooo many stories that we're already teased with. River, BJ, Maverick, so many kids. And even with my horrible bookalzheimer brain, I remember all their parents, and know which kids belong where!

Yes. I know I'm late to this. But even though I'm the biggest rock star romance fan girl, I'm just not a love triangle fan! And this is very triangly. But now I just had to read it, because I also want to read the 2nd generation book that's coming soon! → Reverse And I can't just not read amazing books. So I read it. And I hated the trianlge part. Ugh. Why does this trope even exist!?? I just hate it. I can live with it if one of the guys is horrible or abusive or anything bad. But here the 2nd guy is so nice and hot and good. But we all know who we really want for Stella from the first second. Ugh. I just hate this whole thing for the other guy. I cried a lot! And I also was a tiny bit confused at the beginning - or rather, thinking back to the beginning when the end happened. When we find out who she picked. Some things didn't make sense to me, but that was probably just to make it more mysterious or whatever. Or I was the only one confused. Anyway. I would've loved it more without the 2nd guy in it. There could've been another kind of obstacle instead. But it was still a great romance. So full of amazing music and so many feels. Beautiful. Can't wait to read the 2nd book!

LOL! ADORABLE!
I loved this!
If you're new to this seris, please go back and read all the other books before starting this one! This group of people is so amazing! I really need this to be a Netflix show! The guys are so hilarious with their crafting and glitter and gossiping! If you haven't done some glitter-glue-hearts-crafting with Shep, Palmer and Bodhi - you haven't lived. LOL! I just love this series so much!
And this time we have this adorable and very sparky and sexy and very mature love story. Laura and Dean are 54 and 57 years old! And I loved that! We're all getting older and we can't always read about 23 year olds! Not that they behaved much differently than younger people - lol! I just adored those two and their hilarious flirting and fighting and falling for each other - even though they are both against a real relationship. But with Laura's youngest daughter getting married it feels like everybody is leaving her - even though that is so not the case - she's still very much in demand by the bridezilla and everybody else! But she feels so very lonely, especially when she comes home to an empty house at night - a little fling would be okay... or maybe even something more? Laura and Dean are just perfect for each other - but he'll be gone after the wedding, right? READ THE BOOK TO FIND OUT!
Oh and can someone on the Island please adopt me??? I want to live there - I want to live in the ice cream stand - or just work in it - or just eat it!
