I got so excited when I saw another one was out. The FMC, Scharlotte (and no, I still have no idea how to pronounce her name!) has become so popular the people of the future want to make her president. With a detour to the future version of Jurassic Park and some adventures with her sentient ship, Gordon, you’ll love how this all plays out!. But please be sure to read the other ones first or this will make no sense. I laughed out loud so many times. My favorite part is the slang language used in the “future” and I find myself wanting to incorporate these words into my vernacular. Such a fun series! ...more

It was so freaking good. Might just be my new favorite love story. And Evie is my new hero. Her journey is so powerful and excruciating and sweet. She made me laugh and chuckle and smirk and grin and feel and root for her and my heart broke for her over and over. The love story slow burn/realization along with all the magical creatures (a frog who communicates with signs and a dragon named fluffy?!), and this has jumped into my favorites list without a second thought. Cannot wait to see what happens next. The twist had me shook!...more

A fun continuation of the first novel with a completely different mystery to solve. I didn’t track this one as well as the first, so was quite delighted by “who done it” in the end. If you know me, you know I love a time travel novel. And this one had a mystery and a love story. I loved all the twists and turns and how it all came together in the end. The themes of friendship and family and finding the people you’re meant to do life with (even across time and space) were woven throughout. I loved the character journey that Aleeza went through in stepping out from under her old best friend’s wings and creating a life where she was accepted and loved for who she really was. And yay for high-tech time loops and throwbacks to some of my favorite time travel movies. It’s giving 2024 “Lake House” and I loved it. ...more
