I get hungry (the descriptions of the food -- a delight) and thirsty (a wine made without sulfites) and get a history lesson (the French Resistance and some art during the Renaissance). An American student is found at the bottom of a well -- accident or murder? I recommend starting with the first in the series -- you don't want to miss meeting any of the characters or the food! ...more
