I’ve now read a few of her books and have really enjoyed them all. Her upcoming book CATCH YOU LATER is probably my most anticipated fall release!
THE LAST CARETAKER is about a woman who accepts a job as a residential caretaker at a nature reserve. But when Katie gets there, she finds that the previous caretaker left abruptly, leaving most of her possessions. Katie is woken one night by a frantic woman who was sent there under the impression that it’s a safe haven. Katie realizes that her caretaking job entails much more than looking over the nature preserve, and she has to decide if she will put herself at risk to join a network of people who help domestic violence victims start over.
I knew very early on that this would be a five -star read, and that feeling never wavered. This story emotionally wrecked me.

I quite literally couldn’t stop reading and turning the pages fast enough. Ella and Max are such special characters. My heart completely shattered for both of them, but somehow Jennifer Hartmann put the pieces back together. The ending was beautiful and everything I needed.

I love anytime I’m able to relive the magic of camp and enjoyed how Bummer Camp puts a spin on the typical summer camp novel.
Bummer Camp is a beautiful story of people coming together to help save a place they care about. The characters are so wonderfully quirky and the easiest to root for. Ann’s humor is woven into the story in all the right places.

I haven't read the Off Campus or Briar U series yet, but I think this was the perfect place to start since it's her first ever contemporary romance/hockey book!
I'm a huge fan of dual POVs because it makes me swoon getting to see behind both characters' feelings. BODY CHECK is about a pro hockey player who falls for the team owner's daughter. This definitely gave forbidden romance vibes -- Hayden and Brody know that being together would complicate things, but they can't stay away from each other.
I liked that there was depth to this story with complicated family dynamics. Hayden's relationship with her father is challenging, but I enjoyed seeing the growth that happened throughout the book.
Reading this one made me even more excited to read Kennedy's hockey romance series that everyone raves about!!...more
