There was an ex-wife who was portrayed as a complete bitch, two young acting MCs that just never acted older than a teenager IMO, a vocal homophobic community member who never really said anything important (just ridiculous slander that people let slide) and a really badly portrayed arson problem. And the insta-love was just completely unbelievable.
I tried it. I really wanted to like it because I love my firemen. But sadly cannot recommend it.

So begin their encounters. After a few months of sneaking little trusts here and there, Joel lets Tyler know it can’t continue due to outside issues. Tyler doesn’t understand the why that makes his stomach turn. It doesn’t mean anything other than a quick release. Then after an event, Joel shows up at Tyler’s room NEEDING him to take him. Make him feel.
Once these two come together it is HOT! There are some struggles and fears to overcome but they connect. Even with Joel’s homophobic, dickhead of a father looming between them. And of course, they have the hottest foursome ever with Tyler’s BFF couple. These men give each other everything they need, even when that need is making him feel pain, loss. And there is always the love between them.
A fantastic read and highly recommended for an erotic, filthy little read 😊

Jeremy and Ben were wonderful together. Even after two years apart, the chemistry between them could not be ignored. There were some reservations, yearning on both ends, and some definite sexy times to be had. Throw in a little bit of relationship angst and you have a wonderful story.

Low angst, low steam. Good book but I wish there would have been more around Zach and Gibson that didn’t revolve around Gibson’s brother, Ellis. Not sLow angst, low steam.
