Wow! I loved this book! It's full of fantasy, romance and a storyline that I was immediately swept up in. Who knew I'd fall for a pixie named Phil? (Look at the cover...he is so gorgeous!) Phil is a beautiful, complex pixie and it is so easy to love him. The world building in this book was an incredibly intriguing one. I loved the characters and fell in love with the growing Voss pack. I admit I wanted a hot erotic scene between our amazing heroes, and I missed it, but I did feel the love and chemistry between them, so I guess I forgive the author...maybe...haha. Now, onto sweet Peaches' story!!!

I tried. I did finish it, but I admit I skimmed toward the end. I just couldn't get into it. I think I just didn't care much for the heroes and their I tried. I think I just didn't care much for the heroes and their OTT antics just made me cringe instead of being something enjoyed. I like a well written insta-love story, but this one wasn't for me. Other readers have loved it. I wish I did too. Maybe next time.

I'm not a MMM reader and had almost decided to skip it, but thanks to one of my friends (thank you, Alexandra) she gave me some information about it in a PM, so I decided to give it a shot.
It's an interesting story and it definitely has horror elements to it. More so, than the previous two books in this multi-author series. I like this author's style of writing and enjoy her creative storytelling ability, and ease at which she seems to draw me in as a reader.
Though I did kinda like this story, it is by far not my favorite by her. I had a harder time getting into it than her other books, and I honestly, didn't feel like I knew these characters as well as her previous books. It took me longer to finish this story than I thought it would be. I put it down several times, which is unusual for me, but once the halfway mark passed, I became more involved in it.
If you're not familiar with Bluebeard, I suggest you at least see what he was about before picking this one up. Both heroes are far from perfect and Theo, in particular, is unrepentant and enjoys his choices and his life.
I liked this book, but I didn't love it. I will probably read it again one day, and we will see if my feelings change about it with my second read. I was just a little disconnected from the characters, but who knows,I might feel differently about them one day.
Clearly, I am in the minority when it comes to this book. Most people absolutely loved it, which I understand, I wish I loved it like they did too.
2.5 stars rounded up.

Very interesting take on the Creature from the Black Lagoon. The author was able to make me fall for Kitty and his creature, Shu.

I loved the world building and creative tale of Shu's people, and really enjoyed watching Shu and Kitty fall in love. This is a sweet, romantic story with interesting sexy times with a little mystery, and yes, violence thrown in.
I wish the author would write more about this world. I would definitely be on board with more about Shu and his interesting people.
