Kinda hard not to when his DNA comes from Gian & Cara :) I thought Bene would be fun but Beni is all that and more! He's mafia royalty but still willing to put in the work for the respect he wanted. August isn't so bad either. She's confident, driven and passionate about her career. I love their banter and chemistry.
Didn't realize how much I missed the Chicago crew until Beni but I LOVED the cameos and getting a glimpse of the Rossi and Guzzi families. Can't wait for the next book in the series!

In the years they've been apart Lev has been working for Andino Marcello and is great at his job. When he's home with his daughter he's just daddy. Gigi blew up in the fashion world. Her face on magazines world wide.
I LOVE the relationships Lev has with Andino, Arely, Nessa and Gigi. I just LOVE the world BK has created and FLOVED Les + Corrado's cameo.

Bene and Beni's looks may be identical but they are very much different in personality. My heart broke for Bene and Vanna and they make it hard for you to not root for them.

I really like Autumn. She's the kinda girl I would be friends with in real life. Nate? Is a douche and if I could I'd kick him where the sun don't shine. Ryder is a mystery but I like his alpha ways. Autumn reeled me in and Ryder kept me wanting more! Can't wait for the next book! :)

I LOVE Kyle! He's easy going, the life of the party and so much FUN! Courtney is the opposite but have great chemistry with Kyle. I just LOVE their banter. Too much fun. College age Kyle and Courtney was the most fun to read but it was nice to read about grown up.

Despite all he had endured he still had compassion and care for Viktoria. Viktoria had been through a lot and still going through it. She stayed away from large crowds, drank to numb the pain and to get away from the nightmares. My heart broke for them both. Together they helped one another heal. They leaned on each other. Pav made Viktoria feel safe and cared for.
BK is such a great storyteller. I was drawn in and heavily invested the entire time. I thought Vasily was a bastard for what he did to Kaz but um... Vadim takes the cake! I can't wait for Kon's book. ...more

I LOVED getting to know Kolya & Maya in Fractured Ties. When we were first introduced to the Boykovs in the Seasons of Betrayal series I was drawn to Konstantin but Kolya has stolen a piece of my heart. He's cold and ruthless when it comes to bratva business but a gentle giant to Maya and Sumerki. There is nothing he wouldn't do for Maya.
Maya is such a sweetheart and so kind for someone who's lived such a hard life. She knows what Kolya is capable of but only sees the good in him because he is so GOOD to her.
Kolya & Maya's love story is inspiring. I LOVED Kaz's cameo and learning the history between Vadim and Vasily. Fractured Ties was a great read. Can't wait for the next book!...more

Of course he's a hottie too so there's no shortage of girls but he was tired of the hook ups and wanted something different. Lucky for him that's when he meets Taylor. Taylor is such a sweet girl and so smart. She doesn't know how beautiful she is inside & out. I love her! I adore Conor! They have amazing chemistry and have so much fun together. They bring out the best in each other. I love their banter and the things Conor did for Taylor is so cute. Both had insecurities but had each other to help get over them.
I LOVE the Off-Campus / Briar U series so much. The characters and their stories. I would love for Coach Jensen to get a book cause he's amazing! His interaction with the players and Brenna is always entertaining.

He was groomed to be his father's right hand man and took the role of looking after his brothers. He is an honorable man, kind and worthy of everything good.
Cella Marcello thought if she stayed away from men like her father, brother, uncles and cousins her life would've turned out differently for her but that was not the case. She had to pick up the pieces and raise her daughter as a single parent.
Years pass and a secret job brings Marcus and Cella face to face. Marcus is good for Cella. He is so understanding of the life she's lived and just wants a space in her life / heart. It took some time but Cella finally did realize Marcus was who she needed because he cared for her and her daughter.
Nobody and I mean NOBODY writes mafia the way BK does. From beginning to end I am invested and by the end I'm ALWAYS left wanting more of the world she has created. Lucky for me she doesn't leave her readers wanting for more than a month. Not only is she a BAD A** writer but she is an awesome human being. This is NOT a love triangle but a story about three imperfect people who had somehow found a way to fit together. They love and adore one another. Their chemistry is NSFW and banter is easy and fun.
Les is the best! He's so thoughtful and kind. The fixer out of the trio. Corrado is intense and stubborn but his sexy ass makes up for his ever changing mood. Ginny is sweet and sassy.

He's not interested in following in his father's footsteps by joining the family business and carrying on his family's legacy. It's something he struggles with because he loves his family and doesn't want to disappoint them in any way.
Alessio didn't have the same upbringing as Corrado. He lost his parents at a young age and was taken in by Dare and Cree. They are his family. All he wanted was to go on his first assignment for The League but then Corrado happened.

I LOVE Michel & Gabbie! They were born and raised around a criminal organization headed by their fathers. Before Dirty Pool the glimpses I got of Michel I liked. Even though he didn't join the family business by becoming a made man like the men in his family he's still dangerous and should not be underestimated. He wanted Gabbie and didn't give up until he got her. Gabbie is good for him. They have fun together. Their banter is light and fun.

I wasn't a big fan of Kai's until I got to know him better. He's fiercely protective of his loved ones and would do anything to ensure their safety. Riley is my kinda girl. Contempt was the perfect ending to Renzo + Lucia's love story. They were kept apart for nearly 5 years. Renzo was in Nevada with The League being groomed and controlled so that he could pay back a debt. He had very little contact with Rose and Diego.
Lucia was going to school in California. After graduation she was able to score an internship through her aunt Kim. She hadn't been back home in years and avoided her parents as much as possible until a visit from John with unexpected news takes her back home.
Renzo ends up in New York for a job and Lucia with her family. Renzo + Lucia reconnecting. Lucia repaired her relationship with her father. A vendetta against the Marcellos and thanks to Renzo they survived.
There was NEVER a dull moment in Contempt. One of the MANY reasons BK is my go to for mafia books. ...more

Harbor picked up where Privilege left off. Renzo + Lucia driving across the country with little rest to no rest and doing whatever was needed to keep Lucia's family from finding them. They've had to endure so much in their short time together but their love for one another and desperate need to stay together makes it hard for you to not root for them.

At an early age he's had to take on the role of brother and parent. Always doing what he needed to do to provide shelter and food for his siblings. Their needs always came first no matter what. He is such a great brother and my heart broke for him. He deserved someone good like Lucia.
Lucia was born into money and never had to struggle a day in her life. Lucian's youngest daughter and the most spoiled but she was also sweet and kind. She cared for her family and didn't judge when she met Renzo. She saw him for who he was and not what he had or didn't have.
First love. We've all been there. Rebelled to be with the one we loved despite our parents threats and warnings.
Another great read from BK. She is one of my favorites and never disappoints. The way she introduces you to characters and tells their stories. A big perk? She doesn't keep you waiting and wanting for a long period of time before you get the next book in a series <3...more
